Really, Vince McMahon is upset at Nexus shirt sales? You take a group of people that the casual fans didn't know about until they were on NXT, team them up for no real reason after NXT ends, and then give them a lame shirt... and he is mortified at the sales of the shirt...

Honestly Nexus has wore out its welcome it should have been disbanded after summerslam. I thought they wouldn't have made without Danielson but some how Barrett kept the group of jobbers together.

Think about it. This report comes out just days after their biggest merch mover is put into a position where he may have to support the smallest merch movers.

The nWo shirt was essentially just a few letters and it was one of the biggest selling shirts in wrestling history.

Also, the Austin 3:16 shirt. Yeah, it had a skull on the back, but still, the main selling point of it was one word and a few numbers.

Simplicity over complexity. If Nexus was over huge this exact shirt design would sell like hot shit.

Its not the fact of the letters but that it is a square.

It's a logo. It looks good. It's not fancy, but it more than gets the job done.

yeah an we still see a bunch of nwo shirts at westling shows and raw and impact shows. turner made a killing with that shirt in the 90's, an for people to still wear it 15 years latter. i was thinking of getting that shirt back in the day, but i allways hated hogan.

It looks like a gang spray painting: there's a reason for the design of the shirt. It was and still is pretty cool. Anybody who put on the shirt instantly gained more credibility simply by doing so. It meant something. The D-Generation X shirts accomplished the same thing.

The Nexus shirts are just fucking ugly. If they were half as cool as the nWo, DX, or even some of the other current Superstars' shirt designs, they'd be selling like fucking murder based on how they've been pushing the Nexus.

Teh shirt isnt that bad, its just Nexus arent cool heels that can shill a million shirts anyway. You are comparing a group of first yr rookies to to the biggest stars of the business in Hogan, Nash and Hall, it isnt a fair way of gauging success.

That can't seriously be what you got from what I said. It's a design problem. It has nothing to do with the Nexus storyline as a whole; I'm talking about the conception and execution of the Nexus logo, which is fucking ugly as fuck.
