So The Great Khali has apparently been downgraded from jobber to a mere extra now?
 

Now I know he sucks and all when it comes to wrestling ability, but tonight on RAW, he was beaten into unconsiousness by Sheamus. WTF?! At least make it somewhat believable. Khali is 7'3" and 420lbs.+ He's got Sheamus by like an entire foot in height and close to 200lbs in weight and it wasn't even close. My frickin' goodness.

Khali was the World Heavyweight Champion at one time. Now he just shows up for 2 minute matches that are lopsided with him getting beat into oblivion by people half his size.

What gives?

I don't think this is anything new. He was pretty much jobbing to Dolph Ziggler on Samckdown.

He only became World Champion because they needed a last resort and casual fans could easily buy him as a champion due to his immense size.

Believe it had more to do with him being an icon in India.

And to think that he debuted and annihilated 'Taker.

I dunno. His matches with Ziggler were easily the only Khali matches I ever enjoyed. I wouldn't call them squashes either.

I think the complaining is more about WWE's inconsistency. The guy is 7'3", and has been booked as an absolute monster. He's crushed the Undertaker, Kane and several others (including Charles Robinson's face...). And is a former Heavyweight Champion. Now he is jobbing in minutes.

meh. I can't see why people are surprised by this. Yeah it sucks cause he's a 'former world champ' and all that jazz, but he is fucking horrible in the ring. I'm sure the only fact he's around is because he pulls viewers from India. But, he seems like a good guy. Donates a lot of his pay to his home village. Good on the guy for being able to live his dream.

I have no problem with Khali getting destroyed by Sheamus. Sheamus is a legit main eventer and the guy who "retired" Triple H. This is what he does. Besides, they have to keep Sheamus on par with Orton who hospitalized Chris Jericho later that evening.

At least he's not Kozlov. That guy went from headlining with Triple H to jobbing to the Usos on Superstars.

Honestly felt that the Sheamus beat down on RAW was the best thing they've ever done with Khali. He's a guy that's over with the marks and has always been built as this monster. Having Sheamus destroy him to that extent was a first and it made him look dominating.

The hand print on Sheamus's chest after the chop was hilarious, you could actually make out the entire hand on the red mark, fingers and all. :lol:

Khali has sweet music... it's just that once he hits the ring that sugar feeling turns to a shitty feeling.

Pretty sure there have only been 2 Punjabi Prison matches in WWE - the first one Taker vs Big Show and the second one was Khali vs Batista.

I can appreciate it on the technical level. I have trouble caring on the level of who it targets though, because Khali should fuck off and make kids movies in india or something.

What does his english sound like? Does he speak broken english, or does he sound pretty much American?

He was in that american football movie the longest yard and even in that he was very hard to make out, pretty sure they had subtitles showing even though he was speaking in English. Anytime you've heard him speak English on WWE thats about it really.

You hear him speak in this around 7:42 or so, apparently even those small scenes he had to rehearse quite a bit to be a bit mroe coherent.
