Why didn't Undertaker wrestle at WrestleMania 10?

I was thinking about how, in addition to the streak, Taker must have the most matches at WrestleMania at 18. If he hadn't missed 10 and 16, he would have hit 20-0 this year.

I know he was injured for 16/2000, but where was he during 10? Was he injured? I know he did the Fan thing back then.

Yokozuna and Co. killed him at the 94 Royal Rumble.

but yeah, the whole thing at the Rumble was done to give time off for surgery. Don't remember for what exactly tho`

I think he had broken his nose or something, then he came back with the bad-ass mask.

Mabel hit The Undertaker with a botched leg drop during a match, which crushed The Undertaker's eye socket.

That was in 1995

Supreme Olajuwon 10-02-2010 01:20 PM

I think it was a back injury.

Pretty great that Domino's doesn't present the PPV. It delivers it

Off topic I know I just wanted to comment on 2 things here:

1. As a child I LOVED the Yoko/Taker feud. I especially loved the casket match at the Royal Rumble. If I had been in the audience I KNOW I would have been a .gif on the internetz. I remember being completely shocked and believed he really died when they raised him out of the arena at the end of the match.

2. I also remember loving the Taker vs Taker feud. Leslie Nielson did his part justice & yet again I was a big ass mark who really cared. The match itself, I went back and watched last year, wasn't the best.

Overall I loved that shit as a kid I ate it up

Gertner 10-04-2010 11:34 AM

Because he didn't urn it. Heh.

pretty sure him missing Mania 10 was due to him never having time off since he started in 1990. So the WWF gave him a couple months off finally. I don't believe it was due to injury.

Agreed. I still look back on it now with fond memories.

He had some shelves to put up for the Devil.

It was demanded of him.
