Are they still showing this? Wasn' there one just recently, but they didn't mention it or have any build up?

Is this still the show that they have like 4 times or year? Or is it weekly like a C-show?

I know they used this once to help build up WrestleMania 23 or something. DUNNO

That being said I don't believe they will ever have another SNME

WWE is contractually obligated to give NBC two programs for its station. They have replaced any SNMEs with the Wrestlemania music special and the Tribute to the Troops. Even Dick Ebersol's boner for SNME won't get that show back on the air.

SNME failed to get people to buy more PPVs or even to watch it on NBC. Saturday Night at 10 is a horrible timeslot and nobody really cared. WWE promotes major PPVs better with the random 3 hour Raw or one of those "record breaking Raws" like Raw 900.

They're looking into doing Tribute to the Troops on a Texas base this year.
