You have great tone

I love the mid scoop (keeping the bass and treble up and leaving the mid lower)
Gives a sick metal tone

A lot of it though is having to do with playing everything correctly (sweep picking, economy picking etc)

Not bad, but it sounds too much like video game music for my taste.

Yeah I was definitely commenting more on your talent than the distortion effects. :y:

yeah, definitely gave me flashbacks of 8 bit and 16 bit era games. Not a bad thing though.
