This took longer than it should have. he's been off tv for months, and hasn't done anything meaningful since his heel turn a few years ago.

With that said, I think Matt just lost the drive. WWE had three different oppurtunities to really elevate Matt to become more than just mid card fodder, and for whatever reasons, they decided not to, and I think that left Matt in a very unmotivated state.

At least now he can sit out for three months, hopefully hit the gym hard and get back into ring shape.

Outside of the obvious reuniting with his brother, I cannot see Matt doing anything more than what he did in WWE if he went to TNA. Maybe he can feud against Jeff and "They", but really, there's not a whole lot of room in the main event right now. If he had gotten released two or three years ago, he would've had a shot.

What example are they making? If you're a whiney cunt you get sent home but still get paid your contractually obligated salary? If anything, that's more of a gift.

It's like Vince saying "Hey, you constantly bitch, moan and complain publically about your position on the card and misuse of your character, and have made it habit to do so on Twitter. So you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to send you home, take you off all house show and tv cards, and let you suffer for your actions, all while still paying your contract and merchandise rights. How do you like that?".

Just doesn't make sense. Maybe it's just me, but if I'm running a company, and I'm paying someone to do their job and nothing more, and they go public with how they feel about their position and treatment, I'd fire them immediatley.
