Regal & Coach were 2 of the BEST Raw Managers in recent time. I hope Regal is given more of a LEADERSHIP role as I hate the recent storylines that they've given him.

With all the shit they've been making Regal do at times, I sincerely doubt that this is the straw that breaks the camels back! Regal = GM is a distinct outcome of this. Although Regal as protestingly mute is another!

So the consensus is that this is more of a shoot? I'm still leaning towards it being a work. But with all of the swirling rumors of superstars being upset behind the scenes I'm open to anything. Up until the Matt Hardy stuff from the last while, a contracted superstar bashing their own company seemed to be a rare thing.

I think Regal is just fueling the fire that has been burning within the "dirtsheets."

He was in line for a major push when he won King of the Ring, and then got caught using performance enhancers (or whatever it was). So he's got no one to blame but himself.

I love William Regal. I really doubt he is that pissed, but I wouldn't call it a "work." It's just like a "Come on, guys. I am awesome" kind of thing. I completely understand why the WWE would not want to push Regal to the moon, given his past problems, and I think Regal understands that, but I'd love to see a move to SmackDown! and some actual wrestling time for Regal.
