Which means more in today's wrestling?
When it comes to the options in the poll, which one do you think holds the most prestige?
|
Eh, the belts are a joke now and the streak is once a year... no idea.
|
Being CM Punk means more.

bangin the most amount of divas

Loose Cannon?

Ending the Undertaker's streak can only happen once so I voted for that.
|
None of the above.
|
Beating the streak
|
I've gone for Breaking the streak. The man who does that will have it forever. If anyone ever does.
IMO Taker should retire with The Streak intact or lay down for The Miz. |
Undertaker's streak mainly because of how it gets promoted and hype as a "main event" since its a match everyone wants to see and as the Undertaker gets older, its a streak people keep thinking will be broken based on the opponent each year.
WWE has been more careful of who gets put into that match ever since they started to really care about the streak in terms of hype and revenue producer for Wrestlemania. The championship titles can afford to be put on most main event wrestlers either as a test reign for future potential reigns or as a stat padder like most champions since the roster split. |

WWE CHampionship..... It has been around longer (kayfabe) than the WH Title and no one has a chance in beating Undertaker's streak.....
|
The streak is a joke anyway... going with the WWE title.
|
da streak
|
I'm gonna go with the streak. Can't stand the way the titles are booked.
|
When you look at a guy like Jack Swagger or even CM Punk to an extent, their title reigns haven't taken them as high up the card as it used to. If Jack Swagger was to break the streak he would have tons more heat and would be seen as a bigger star than if he won the World title again.
For that reason, gotta go with the streak, |

Whichever Championship is on Raw.
|
i would have said wwe title if it looked like this http://www.freewebs.com/wwe4life12/WWEWORLD.jpg
and not this http://crzyslam.com/WWE/CBpics/Cena_spinWWE_cb.jpg |
Whichever title is on Raw is the "more important" one.
I would say holding it means more than beating Taker's streak. You beat Taker's streak, good for you, you will get much heat until everybody just forgets it and move on. Like Jericho winning the Undisputed Title. Was a great heat device, but in recent years it was just something that he said that he did, and he got far more heat from holding a world title again. |
I voted for the WWE Championship, because of the fact that it IS the WWE Championship, the top title in the business.
The WHC is not the main title. So it's not the most meaningful. And everyone knows "The Streak" will never end, so no real story there, although it IS special. |
I agree with Cockjaw, whatever title is on RAW is considered the #1 title at the time. In 2003/04 the WHC felt superior as opposed to the WWE Title which was being fought over between JBL and a relatively "new" main eventer in John Cena.
The WWE Title became #1 again a month after Cena got drafted to RAW in 2005. Both titles were on the same show for that 1 month, but then the WHC went to SD! (2 or 3 month feud between JBL vs. Batista). The last time the WHC was contested as the #1 title was Batista vs. Triple H in a HIAC at Vengeace 2005 |
I will say the streak at this time holds the most prestige.
|
Ending the streak, because it hasn't been done before, whereas everybody gets a world title nowdays.
|
I voted for the WWE Championship. I would say to the WWE and the new fans they are trying to attract, they want to focus the championship as the center of the company. To the hardcore fan, internet junkie, etc. it is clearly the streak.
It all depends on what angle you are coming from. |
After the HBK matches, definitely the streak
|
Whichever title is on Raw or main eventing Wrestlemania.

I say it's the streak that means the most and I don't think there's any question about it. A guy breaking Undertaker's streak would give him a much bigger rub than just winning the WWE or World Title. The WWE and World Titles mean very little today. They've been changing hands every couple of months lately and it's as if they're trying to give as many different guys a run with it as possible.
|
The WWE championship has the lineage as the company's belt. If you win that you're instantly in great company.
The man who ends Taker's streak would be in an elite class of just himself, but realistically it's just an angle that comes around once a year. He can't "defend" the streak once he wins it. |
Wade Barrett is ending the streak. The whole costing him the Buried Alive match at Bragging Rights planted the seed for this. You heard it here first
