November is the best month for sports

  • NFL
  • NBA
  • College Football
  • College Basketball
  • NHL
  • World Series
  • Soccer
  • .....Um Nascar I guess

The Football League is well under way, the start of the FA Cup proper, the beginning of the Ashes series...

James Steele 11-02-2010 11:16 PM

December/January...mostly big game football and less of those other stupid fucking sports who play 9473563 fucking games so their seasons don't mean fucking shit until the final 1/3.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-02-2010 11:19 PM

So James you're officially off the Texas Rangers bandwagon then?

Jeritron 11-02-2010 11:23 PM

The World Series isn't part of November. It spills over by a day or so ocassionally now, but it's October.

October is the best month for sports to me. November is no better than the other winter months. By any logic favoring November, it would make much more sense to vote December-January since the NBA and NHL seasons are deeper in, the NFL is in the playoffs and the college football bowls are going on.

Triple Naitch 11-02-2010 11:24 PM

One World Series game, meaningless early hockey and basketball games, majority of NFL bye weeks. Totally agree.

Jeritron 11-02-2010 11:25 PM

Febuary is easily the worst. March really wouldn't be any better if it wasn't for college basketball.

February has the Super Bowl though..plus College Basketball Conference Tournaments, the Daytona 500 and beginning of Spring Training in Baseball.

Hardly the worst.

The wost is easily July. Nothing but Baseball until the end of the month when NFL training camps open but no actual games until august.

June could be #1 with the NHL and NBA Finals, and baseball.

I don't know if November is the BEST month for sports, but it's really cool, 'cause we have the World Series, the NBA season is starting up, the NFL season is in full-swing, we always have our pro-wrestling...plus, we are getting into the Holiday Season, we have Thanksgiving, the colder weather is coming in...it's nice.

Savio 11-02-2010 11:58 PM

I would have to agree that July is the worst

But no Nascar....:shifty:

Joey Slugs 11-03-2010 12:04 AM

No. It's October. NHL and NBA start. MLB playoffs. College and Pro football in full swing.

Savio 11-03-2010 12:16 AM

No college basketball though.

No. I will always like the Rangers, but I fucking hate baseball. Football (American) is the greatest fucking sport in the world, and the only one I can tolerate watching in its entirety.

Buzzkill 11-06-2010 06:58 PM

Yes also because baseball is over

OssMan 11-06-2010 07:17 PM

Fucking hate everything that has to do with hockey but GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

And November MIGHT have one game of the MLB playoffs...

Skippord 11-07-2010 10:21 PM

Every month with Baseball is better than November

Nervous Ferret 11-07-2010 10:31 PM

Why months? I hate months

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-21-2010 04:08 PM

The Lions and Cowboys get to play on Thanksgiving, so it's always a shitty month.
