Biggest Bridge Burner

Which male or female in the wrestling business has made comments or actions that have ruined any chance of them ever working or being recognized by a top promotion, particularly WWE?

I would be tempted to say Warrior, but I feel like Vince would bring him back for the HOF in a heart beat.

Maybe Scott Steiner for his comments on HHH and Shawn.

Raven for his lawsuit perhaps...

Xero 11-08-2010 10:40 AM

Randy Savage for sticking his Slim Jim into Steph's Moon Pie.

The Jayman 11-08-2010 10:43 AM

Scott Hall

Has to be London atm.

JimmyMess 11-08-2010 10:45 AM

Scott Steiner would be my number one.
Savage for "whatever reason we don't know"
Maybe Bruno Sammartino? In terms of recognition by WWE?

Xero 11-08-2010 10:46 AM

I think I win the thread with this one.

Shane Douglas?

BizarroKing 11-08-2010 11:00 AM

Konnan. Heard he won't work anywhere but AAA.

That's because no one wants him.

DLVH84 11-08-2010 11:27 AM

Kid Kash

Next Big Thing 11-08-2010 11:31 AM

I'd be tempted to say Scott Hall too, but he's really more of a fuck up. He hasn't actually bashed WWE in any way and I think if he ever did clean up (BIG IF) they'd use him in some way, even if it's just a one off thing.

I think they'd use Matt Hardy again too if money could be made or Jeff could be brought back. Hardy Boyz are definitely going in the hall some day too, so we'll see Matt again.

Rammsteinmad 11-08-2010 11:57 AM

What have Kid Kash and Paul London do?

Rammsteinmad 11-08-2010 11:59 AM

To be honest I don't think there is ever a truly definitive 'bridge burner'. Steiner and Douglas are two of the more prolific shit talkers about WWE, but I do belive that if WWE ever did have a serious use for them, they'd make the offer.

On the other hand, it's people like Steiner and Douglas who would look like a complete ass bag for joing WWE after ten years of ripping it apart.

glanville6 11-08-2010 12:05 PM

Not the biggest bridge burner, but the Hulkster Hulk Hogan sure starts some fires

London has zero filter whatsoever and enjoys getting intoxicated and letting rip into everybody he doesn't like from top to bottom in WWE. Only way Vince brings him back is probably to entertain himself for 2 minutes and have Sheamus actually end his life on TV. Entertaining as hell though. Kid Kash has bit of an attitude, has upset some indy promoters etc.

whiteyford 11-08-2010 12:52 PM

Don't think there is one if Vince can make money from it, they brought in Bischoff.

Plus, Kid Kash burned bridges with TNA and WWE with his attitude and words.

I seriously wonder if he regrets holding Vince up for cash to drop the belt.

LOL

On the same hand, because of Chris Nowinskis studies on concussions, I don't think we'll see Harvard Chris on the WWE Alum page any time soon

Teddy Hart, for so many reasons.

Gertner 11-08-2010 05:49 PM

Teddy Hart without a doubt.

Buff Bagwell is high on the list as well.

jskinnyg 11-08-2010 05:55 PM

Sid Vicious as well... I guess Stabbing AA with scissors doesn't go to far with the company...

Savio 11-08-2010 06:06 PM

Couple years ago I would have said Jeff Hardy, the guy goes and no shows TNA events. WWE gives him the world title, then Jeff just leaves. But they guy is doing good in TNA now so...

MoFo 11-08-2010 06:27 PM

Flair going to TNA wouldnt of gone down too well at WWE.

Rammsteinmad 11-08-2010 07:07 PM

Teddy Hart is a dumbass.

Actually, Flair didn't want to retire, and WWE forced him to. And Flair wanted to make appearances outside of WWE.

Will have to say he was pushed towards retiring, rather than forced. No one could have made him do that angle if he clearly stated that he was not doing it.

I still can't believe that rumor. I believe Savage wanted to wrestle more, but Vince wanted him just as a color commentator, so Savage left for WCW.

Regardless, by going to TNA (thus renegging on the retirement clause of a huge WrestleMania match) he damn well burned his bridge for now at least.

Mind you, what would WWE do with him? He's in the HoF and they've released at least 3 DVD sets off the back of his work.

Women - Alundra Blayze/Madusa. She was the only one to toss a belt in the garbage during the Monday Night War era and ended up making everyone else worry about having champions switch shows.

Men - Randy Savage. Vince is dead-set in ever bringing him back or promoting anything good with him.
