When did Kane start talking.....

.....without that voice machine thingy that X-Pac gave him?

Was there a reason given for him not being able to talk, and did they explain why he suddenly could?

First time Kane spoke:

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cKEsu-eeRYY?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cKEsu-eeRYY?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

First time without voice box:
<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mMcuYN3Ko38?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mMcuYN3Ko38?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

He couldn't use talk without it because of assumed smoke damage to his lungs/throat. Not really sure if they explained it outright why he was able to talk without it later, but since he was "emotionally scarred" and not literally, it could easily be seen as something he depended on even though he didn't need to.

Thanx, I thought it was something to do with that 'fire' story.

Yeah I think the time he first spoke without the voice box thing was late '99.

This "suck it" sounded like a retard said it.

He gradually started talking more and more after X-Pac made him more human. Then after X-Pac he was with Taker and as Taker was in biker mode he pretty much just spoke.

lol, this thread got me thinking how Kane had that burned face in No Mercy if you took off the mask.

Have no memory of that.

I can't remember if it was in the actual edit a wrestler or you needed a Gameshark code, but it was definitely in. Was basically a burned black face with two beady little eyes.

Kane really came off as a scary monster when he had that voicebox. They need another character like that again
