"Finding Hulk Hogan" Documentary on A&E right now

Interesting so far. I am trying not to roll my eyes like a smark at whatever Hogan says, but it seems like a huge PR pity party since he is apparently "broke".

Loose Cannon 11-17-2010 11:19 PM

I bet when Hogan's depressed he watches Wrestlemania 3

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:20 PM

He is currently comparing drinking a gallon of Captain Morgan 100 to drinking gasoline. They are recreating his suicide attempt with him actually acting it out.

Jesus...I am feeling bad for Terry Bollea. A call from Laila Ali about American Gladiators saved his life.

The Naitch 11-17-2010 11:24 PM

I thought that Sun article was just a joke (this is the same paper that says Hillary Clinton adopted an alien). So Hogan really did try to commit suicide?

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:31 PM

Apparently. He drank a gallon of Captain Morgan 100 took some Xanax (the big ones, they call em Totem Poles in wrestling) and held a gun to his head and played with it in the mirror for hours until Laila Ali called him about American Gladiators.

Also, his girlfriend looks and sounds just like his daughter...fuckin' creepy. Nick looks like a fucking prick.

Loose Cannon 11-17-2010 11:33 PM

^LOL was just going to say that about his new girlfriend. wtf.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:33 PM

32 minutes into the 1 hour program, they begin talking about TNA. Paying dividends...

Anybody Thrilla 11-17-2010 11:34 PM

Nice. It's replaying at 2:01 AM. I set it to record.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:34 PM

ROFL

Super Zoom-In shot of Hogan brushing his beard.

Burying Vince and WWE now...

Loose Cannon 11-17-2010 11:35 PM

fucking Mike Tenay is the one booking TNA apparently

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:35 PM

TNA is a parallel of my life...I'm slowly getting back to the top.

DEEP SHIT HULKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:36 PM

Hogan: "Let's don't do the low-blow gimmick, take out his knee. More serious."
Bischoff: "Yeah Yeah Yeah I agree."

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:36 PM

"New Energy and New People to take TNA to a new level..."

shows video of an Abyss/Foley match

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:38 PM

How does this get on A&E, but we never get the Mick Foley reality series that has been in development since like 2004.

The Naitch 11-17-2010 11:39 PM

fuck this is on the same time as TUF 12.

Right when its commercial I change the channel to A&E and low and behold, the first thing I hear is him praising TNA/burying WWE. He's so bitter

classic

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:39 PM

It will replay at 1:00am (CST)

Aguakate 11-17-2010 11:41 PM

This is not how I imagined Hogan at this stage of his life. It sucks.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:43 PM

I just love how he is building this up like he is coming back for a fucking 1-year world tour of 60-minute ironman matches.

Can it really hurt you that much to throw shitty punches?

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:45 PM

Hogan is a fucking brilliant PR man, seriously. I dare anybody to watch this and not feel bad for Hogan at least once.

Loose Cannon 11-17-2010 11:46 PM

uh oh, Hogan reliving the old days right now

HE'S HULKING UP

Loose Cannon 11-17-2010 11:46 PM

NO!!!!!!!!!

PUNCH

PUNCH

PUNCH

The Naitch 11-17-2010 11:46 PM

fuck i kinda feel sorry for him, hearing that he tried to kill himself. If you look past his ego for a minute

Aguakate 11-17-2010 11:46 PM

I'm watching this show just because it's kinda interesting, but I really don't believe much of what is going on, or what Hogan says.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:47 PM

ROFL @ him "training" those Brian Knobbs' Nastyville Wrestling School students.

Also ROFL @ the idea of Brian Knobbs' Nastyville Wrestling School.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:48 PM

Vince McMahon might need to watch his ass if Hogan gets TNA rolling because Hogan might be able to beat Vince at the "ruthless businessman" game.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:49 PM

Actually, no he couldn't. I can only imagine what McMahon would do to Hogan and TNA if they ever became a threat.

"Let's LOCK UP!"

"Aaaaaah-Shaaa!"

(Hogan knees the guy)

"Shaaaaaa!"

"Throw your leg up like this!"

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-shaaaa! Shaaa!"

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:52 PM

He did more moves with that kid than he did in his own matches.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:53 PM

Oh shit, the payoff of this documentary is the epicness that was the Hogan/Abyss vs Flair/Styles tag team match.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:54 PM

How many fuckers are TNA going to try and squeeze into that production meeting room?

Aguakate 11-17-2010 11:54 PM

"This is gonna happen. Better father, husband, wrestler, businessman. I'm telling everybody, it's gonna happen".

Better father and husband, hopefully yes. Better wrestler and businessman? Nah.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:55 PM

Oh shit...he revealed where he hides the razorblade!!! In the gum in his mouth...fucking brilliant!

Aguakate 11-17-2010 11:56 PM

There goes Hogan giving away wrestling secrets, by showing where he keeps his blade.

He should know better than that.

James Steele 11-17-2010 11:56 PM

ROFL

Gettin' psyched up putting on his bandana...or getting winded. Can't tell

Aguakate 11-17-2010 11:57 PM

JUST WRESTLE ALREADY! GEEZ!

It's not like he's getting ready for a WrestleMania Championship match.

James Steele 11-18-2010 12:00 AM

Fucking brilliant. Truly brilliant. They know better than to show too much of the iMPACT Zone!

Van Hammer had a wrestling school not too far from where I live.

Also, the idea that the shitty American Gladiators remake saved Hogan's life is crazy. It didnt even last a whole season.

Too bad they showed, and talked too much of, the "behind the scenes" of the iMPACT Zone. I don't understand why TNA feels like making everything "so real", and breaking kayfabe, is the way to go.

And about Hogan, he doesn't deserve this, man. He deserves so much more...if only he wasn't as much of an "Ego Maniac" as he is a "Hulka Maniac"...

Droford 11-18-2010 12:09 AM

Next week on Finding Hulk Hogan, Terry Bollea attempts to make peace with the Iron Shiek.

What piece does he want to make with the Iron Sheik?
