Survivor Series "what if"
 

(I apologize in advance if this was already posted elsewhere)

By now, we all know the stipulation facing Cena during the WWE Championship match coming up. However, I was thinking of a "what if" scenario and wanted to see what everyone else thought.

The scenario: What happens if Wade Barrett wins the title, but immediately afterwards, The Miz cashes in MITB and wins (presumably using a ref he brings to the ring). Does Cena still have his "freedom", or would storyline still call for his "firing"?

I know this is very unlikely to happen..but, what do you think?

Barrett only needs to win the title. Cena would be free.

There are two ways I see this going. Either this happens and Miz wins the title with the help of Cena, or Cena turns at the end of the match and screws Orton in some way, in turn joining Nexus for real.

I think it'd be great for Cena to turn here and reveal it was his idea to take out the Undertaker. It's too easy so they probably won't do it.

Figured as much, we know they won't fire Cena. A full on heel turn could be interesting though..for anyone who actually cares about Cena that is.

I hope they do do this. It just depends on if Taker will be able to go at Mania.

Cena/Taker is the last truely big match with the current batch of wrestlers that hasn't happened (in their current persona, anyway), and Cena going into the match a heel would be amazing.

Cena better get new theme music.

Well wasn't there rumor of WWE having Orton lose at SS just so he could win the Rumble and get the belt back at 'Mania??

Well storyline wise there is no reason why Cena shouldn't turn on Orton. Kicked his dad in the head a couple years ago, been his archrival for years, and is now taking the spotlight away from him.

But seriously, Cena needs a new theme regardless. Shit's old.

It's been his time for over 5 years

I would love it if A. Cena turned here, and screwed Orton, setting up a heel Cena vs Face Orton at Mania.

Or.

B. Barrett wins, Miz comes in, cashes in the contract and with Cena as the referee, he counts the 1-2-3. It would set up a great level of intertwined storylines.

Yeah, it's Cena's "time", but "their time" has been up for 5+ years.

Only problem with that is Cena couldn't use the MITB contract without winning it in a match with the Miz first.

The only problem with that is that it's a terrible idea.

The way Orton was teasing heeling it up vs Cena the past couple of weeks, to me its obvious that Orton's gonna screw Cena over and join the Nexus replacing Cena.

That would RUIN EVERYTHING.

If Cena turned full heel after that promo Piper gave on Monday, it would be epic.

Cena turning heel would be pretty epic, but I think is a risk that the WWE just isn't going to be willing to take. The best you'll get is a selfish Cena that gets called on his shit, leading to Cena, Orton, Barrett & Miz all being in the title hunt.
