I like the original one. Reminds me of the great year in wrestling that was 2000

on a side note, I hate how RAW and SD! are the same set now

Jeritron 11-19-2010 03:08 AM

The first one has Jericho and Curtis Hughes on the tron, therefore it is the greatest of all

Seth82 11-19-2010 03:24 AM

I always liked the first set

the 2nd set always kinda looked lame

#BROKEN Hasney 11-19-2010 03:26 AM

Giant fist. There can be no arguments here, everyone else is wrong.

James Steele 11-19-2010 03:26 AM

I've always been partial to the SmackDown! FIST

:y: I agree, I have always liked the first one in comparison to the others, it was an awesome set and brings back great memories.

Rammsteinmad 11-19-2010 05:29 AM

I liked the first one, but I think the fist is the best. It gave Smackdown it's own personality, and also 2002/2003 and some of 2004 were great for Smackdown, so good memories.

RiX1024 11-19-2010 06:56 AM

Fist one me thinks, the original set was unique at the time coz the oval-tron was used and it was located on the side of the set.

BizarroKing 11-19-2010 07:07 AM

Oval Set: Great set
Fist Set: The most used so far and helped define SD! (namely from Raw)
Current Set: It's OK but pretty bland from the last 2...not to mention it's the same as Raw...

If SD! ever goes Old School like Raw did, hope they go back to one of those 2 for that night.

MoFo 11-19-2010 07:50 AM

The first one, but it was cool that they changed the whole set after Rhyno gored Jericho through it.

stultiloquy 11-19-2010 09:01 AM

I've gotta go with the original set; I never liked that fist - it just reeked of corniness, and the new set reminds me of a ppv more than the weekly show.
Outside of that, the original set reminds me of my favorite period in wrestling.

Rammsteinmad 11-19-2010 10:44 AM

Can't find a decent picture, but I use to have the toy version of the Smackdown set for my action figures about ten years ago. Good times. :D

I like the current one. The first one looks cheap and I never liked the fist.

Lock Jaw 11-19-2010 01:19 PM

FIST

Nightwing 11-22-2010 12:37 PM

The original easily.

I like the first and second one. Who doesn't like to get fisted?

Xero 11-22-2010 02:20 PM

I feel that there was another set between the fist and the current setup. :-\

DLVH84 11-22-2010 02:52 PM

The first two were my favorites.

tjmidnight420 11-22-2010 06:44 PM

The first SD set.

They had the old "supershow" sets that combined elements of both shows. RAW had its normal set up, but they would remove the big metal side trons and replace them with pieces of the broken glass set and then also replace the square mini-tron with the round SD! mini-tron. Trying to find a pic. It always looked like shit because the giant Parallelogram Titantron didn't fit with SD! at all.

Savio 11-22-2010 07:35 PM

yeah I like the Fist

Yeah, that was probably it. Just seems that people were bitching about the fist being gone before the HD set. Dunno, guess it's a blur to me since I haven't watched SmackDown! regularly in probably 4+ years.

I don't remember a different stage other than the "special" stages for Supershows, foreign shows (England/Japan/etc.), or other dual tapings (SNME).

Holy shit, I never knew that occurred.

Juan 11-22-2010 08:15 PM

It's 2010 ,how do you not know how to embed?

James Steele 11-22-2010 08:16 PM

I would have been scared shitless standing on that fist. I don't do heights.

Savio 11-22-2010 08:33 PM

I embed only once a day.

Shisen Kopf 11-22-2010 11:16 PM

I don't know how to embed. That hurt my feelings. :'(

James Steele 11-23-2010 02:00 AM

I can show you how to embed. :naughty:

Cuzziebro 11-23-2010 07:28 AM

Pretty sure in one of the early Smackdown games you could some how get on THE FIST, and wrestle on it. For this reason I say that THE FIST is my favourite Smackdown set. The worst is definitely what is being paraded around now. Makes me cry every time I see it, which might I add is very little.
