I think so. sorry steele

IC Champion 11-24-2010 10:18 PM

No, he should come back in a glorious triumph crushing everything in it's wake.

That first one is a great shot of Trips, but that fucking belt kills it entirely.

Juan 11-24-2010 10:26 PM

Ok, James, we get it.

Juan is a shitty mod.

Volare 11-24-2010 11:01 PM

I voted stay off, I mean he's been gone this long and WWE is alive and well. Maybe have him comeback sparingly.

Sorry James Steele.

What Would Kevin Do? 11-25-2010 12:04 AM

It depends. If he comes back and puts over the younger talent, yes.

For the youth movement to work, some of the older guys who are left need to put over younger guys. Sheamus putting out HHH was huge. If HHH comes back and crushes him though, it won't look as good. However, if he has matches with guys like JoMo, Miz, Danielson, etc, and makes them look good (he doesn't have to lose, just make them look good), then I'm all for it.

Tazz Dan 11-25-2010 01:08 AM

No. He should come back in all his glory and dominate Raw. Once Miz loses the belt.

Tommy Gunn 11-25-2010 04:40 AM

Maybe one more lengthy title run for old times sake which comes to an end when a newer guy beats him, then step aside and let the new talent through.

Rammsteinmad 11-25-2010 05:02 AM

No. He doesn't need another title run 'for old times sake', coz once that's finished this time next year someone else will suggest 'one more title run for a final goodbye'.

He's been gone long enough and WWE has been pretty consistent without him, I say let him stay off and do his backstage stuff, and obviously work the occasional angle.

Infact, I'm not really a fan of HHH, but I would love to see him in a fued with CM Punk. The two promos they cut a while back were really good, and the two seem to have good chemistry.

But other than that, what good would his return serve to the youth movement?

I don't know why Triple H receives such harsh criticism from the internet fans; Hunter is a dedicated and entertaining performer who loves the business, why wouldn't we want somebody like that to come back?

Triple Naitch 11-25-2010 08:58 AM

I want him back.

See: 2003.

XCaliber 11-25-2010 10:57 AM

Accidently voted yes but he should come back every once and a while to help to put over some of the younger talent but that doesn't mean he will fo the job all the time but at least make them look good like he did in recent history with Rhodes and DiBiase and of course with Sheamus.

MoFo 11-25-2010 11:37 AM

I want him to overtake Flair's world title record, because hes like a zillion times better than Flair.

Rammsteinmad 11-25-2010 12:56 PM

It'd be nice if he returned to get revenge on Sheamus, only to have Sheamus win again.

I can't recall a feud Triple H has lost since 1999.

ron the dial 11-25-2010 01:14 PM

of course he should come back. he's the fucking game.

This. Triple H is the man. However, he needs to return at MSG, with the ripped jean jacket over the leather jacket.

Kane Knight 11-25-2010 01:58 PM

I don't miss him any.

XL 11-25-2010 02:30 PM

Raw has seemed pretty fresh since he's been gone. The Main Event scene has really opened up. My fear would be that guys like Sheamus, Miz, etc would be automatically knocked down a notch just with his return. I can't say I've missed him.

Damian Rey 11-25-2010 02:43 PM

While not a big fan, I appreciate Triple H as much as the next guy. But I feel like so much has changed since his last match that he'd seem kinda out of place at the moment. You have all these new, young guys pretty much running Raw while Orton and Cena have slid into the roles of veterans on tje show.

I really enjoyed him in his Mania build and match with Sheamus. It was incredibly refreshing to see him out of the main event and in a mid card fued, helping get a new talent over.

With that said, if/when he does come back, I would hope he is not in the title hunt outside of the Elimination Chamber and spends the next 4 to 5 months getting a new talent over and primed for a serious push, ala Sheamus this year.

Him staying off TV makes it more special when he does come back. So, it'll be a bigger joygasm for James Steele and a bigger "oh fuck who is he gonna squash/then get fired in his return" for the rest of it.

Other that King of Kings leather thing from his suit at Wrestlemania 22 Also I'm surprised he wore that monstrosity of a championship belt at all. It actually looks pretty good on The Game damn I didn't think that WWE title would look good on anybody.

He seemed to be the only person who actually WORE it when he was champion. I give him credit for wearing it and trying to make it seem like it wasn't the biggest piece of trash in wrestling history besides Jeff Hardy's belt and what Orton left in Amy Weber's bag.

itsmeJD 11-25-2010 08:31 PM

I can only imagine the reaction of James Steele when that opening chord hits...something tells me he drowns in the "joygasm" as SlickyTrickyDamon so eloquently put it. By the way, fuck no Trips shouldn't stay off TV. The Game still sells.

Triple H is one of my all time favorites. That is classic Triple H and that ovation he got at MSG was ridiculous.

He is still so good that he can sell anything with his logo on wweshop.com and he doesn't have to be anywhere near a TV camera.

Jeritron 11-26-2010 01:28 AM

No. But a bit after his return I think he should take a reduced role.

I love HHH, but I don't want to see him hang around too long in the ring. At least not fulltime.
I'd like to see him do a couple more years fulltime, and then look at retirement. Obviously he'd still be on tv, but I'd rather see him as an authority figure, and only wrestle a couple big matches a year.
I've never been keen on seeing my favorites continue fulltime past their prime.

St. Jimmy 11-26-2010 03:50 AM

No, what the fuck? This thread is crap.

The more he stays away, the more people love him.

So if he stays away forever....
