I personally think he will stay with WWE and he is working the internet.

But if I'm wrong, what do you see in his future? He could go to TNA, but it would be a huge paycut I'm sure. He could run a wrestling website again, or he could maybe work on shoots or something.

I highly doubt he is financially secure enough to retire. And WWE can butter his bread, and he is good at his job. I see him staying, but was interested in all your thoughts.

I think he's been a bit too critical of TNA to wind up there, but check Dixies twitter to see if theres a huge announcement coming tomorrow.

I think he gets re-hired. Isn't he in charge of wwe.com? He has made it 100x better since taking over. I do not see WWE letting him go.

If he's fired he'll be a former WWE and ECW talent, where do you think he'll end up?

As far as being too critical of TNA to go there, he seems pretty critical of the WWE too and yet he still lets them pay him lots of money.

He won't get "fired". His contract expires.

I'll expect him to resign in the 11th hour.

Its not a case of him going there after being too critical as TNA wanting to hire him afterwards. I think they probably would, former wwecw talent after all, but if WWE offers him a renewal i doubt he'd go, and supposedly Vince likes him or his politics at least.

If they don't renew his contract he probably goes back to working in advertising or marketing, run of the mill 8-4 job.

But i suspect they will re-sign him because he really made a huge difference in terms of wwe's web and mobile content.

Who leaves it to the last day to sign a contract renewal?

This is probably like the Jim Ross situation where both parties agreed to let his "talent" contract expire, but, he was still kept on as an employee of WWE. I suspect the same situation is going to go down with Joey Styles.

Wish they'd put Styles back with Jerry Lawler. Enjoyed them two together.

If he leaves, maybe TNA will offer him a contract and pair him up with Taz on commentary. Also enjoyed them two together.

Either way, Styles belongs behind the announce booth.

I was never a fan of him as an announcer. I don't know what it was, I just felt he was annoying, HOWEVER, it would be great of he replaced Cole.

Not really. I love Joey Styles more than any play-by-play guy in history, but there's no way I'd watch TNA's shitty product just to hear him speak over it.

I'd be interested to hear him on commentary again personally, even if its at TNA. Can't see WWE letting it happen though.

Can't see TNA giving Mike Tenay the boot in favor of Styles.

no but tenay can be the 3rd man he is better at that anyway, styles taz and tenay would be a great team.

Was what i was wondering, and i don't think TNA would turn down the opportunity of having styles& tazz both on commentary, especially with their (pointless) ecw tribute stuff they had a while ago...

Joey Styles is my fave announcer, i would like to see him announce again, but not in TNA, Send him to ROH or CZW.
