Should TNA pick up Shad and Luke Gallows?

Tna has picked up worse scraps from the WWE (Trevor Murdoch) should they try and get Shad and Luke once their 90 days are up? Luke is an agile big man, maybe not the best mike worker but decient in the ring. The same could be said about Shad but I liked his narcissus gimmick he was working on before he was released. Would you like to see these two big men try thier hands at TNA or are they just too plain to do anything worth watching?

BizarroKing 11-30-2010 01:54 PM

Gallows: Sure
Shad: Doubt it.

They should appropriately manage their current talent roster before throwing other cogs in the works. I haven't regularly watched TNA in like 2 years, but it always seemed like such a clusterfuck that it was hard to tell who to pay attention to.

Ultra Mantis 11-30-2010 02:01 PM

I would say no, they are both boring additions and the roster is already way too big.

Schlomey 11-30-2010 02:22 PM

Trevor Murdoch was awesome.

Savio 11-30-2010 02:48 PM

they should fire Team 3D first

MoFo 11-30-2010 04:10 PM

No, Sugar Shane is the only release they should be picking up.

:y: Agreed.

Nicky Fives 11-30-2010 06:23 PM

no and no.... the last thing TNA needs is more useless talents on an already full roster, stealing TV from people who actually deserve it.....

#BROKEN Hasney 11-30-2010 06:45 PM

Sure, why not pick them up? It's not like they can do any worse programming.

Emperor Smeat 11-30-2010 07:27 PM

Wouldn't matter if they picked them up since they would get the initial push but after that the roster is too large for TNA to manage most of the time.

Gallows "Fetus" gimmick might work well in TNA since its unique compared to what TNA has but TNA probably would use it as a comedic character or botch how it was done in the WWE.

SaskatchewanChamp 11-30-2010 07:33 PM

Thanks, but no thanks. TNA's roster is good enough.

Anybody Thrilla 11-30-2010 07:33 PM

Is there a way to play someone who only responds to a bell in a serious way?

Emperor Smeat 11-30-2010 07:57 PM

By comedic I was meaning more of what TNA did with Abyss in his quest for the ring when before he was already a powerful person and didn't make sense compared to how his character was before and after the Hogan ring storyline.

Gallows was made to be someone who had two sides to him but everyone knew the sound of the bell made him snap out of his problem and beat up people. I think Punk mentioned how he was giving medicine or something to Gallows so the bell wouldn't affect him anymore.

TNA probably would have done a match where people kept ringing the bell to make him go back and forth multiple times in a comedic way.

This right here.

On another note, how does WWE get away with these 90-day no-compete clauses if the wrestlers are independant contracters? I get that it is written into there contracts, but it just seams henky to me.

Tommy Gunn 12-01-2010 05:03 AM

TNA have enough jobbers.

It's a pretty shitty clause, but wrestlers still have a right not to sign the contracts if they don't want to. I doubt that ever happens when WWE offers a contract, though.

SHOULD they? No.

WILL they? Probably.

Knowing TNA, they'll probably have him come out as an actual Fetus.
