Would have much rather seen Nam and Caceres (or whatever Bruce Leroy's real name is), but if Nam and Garcia are fighting at featherweight.

I'd also like to see McKenzie and Wilkinson moved to the main card.

Nam Pham/ Garcia is a helluva fight!

That was a bullshit decision. I don't think they're really booing the fighter, as much as they're voicing the fact that it was a completely horrible decision. That pretty much ranks up with Rua and Machida... What the fuck were they watching?

When Rogan gave them a chance to stop booing the judges and give Garcia some respect, they continued to boo..

Probably because they're pissed. I'm going to give the crowd the benefit of the doubt, They know Garcia worked his ass off, but that victory wasn't deserved.

Pretty much that they're utterly incompetent, should be gutted (fired, and new peeps hired), and they're making MMA look bad/corrupt, when it's not.

UFC gets blamed for bad decision when they don't even get to pick the people making the decisions..

i think they need to just change mma scoring systems completely tbh. the UFC is going to become dull as fuck in the next couple of generations of the sport. wrestling is already the best base to have, having it so takedowns score so highly and laying on a guy can win you a round is stupid.

Wrestling is playing less of a factor more recently really, wrestling has become so important that everyone has it now, meaning it's becoming less of and advantage that it was for the guys with strong wrestling bases. It's MMA, wrestling is part of it, get over it already, I get tired of hearing people bitch about it. Yeah I joke and call Jon Fitch boring, but I never complain about the wrestling aspect of the sport, I actually enjoy most of the time.

This mckenzie kid from the show was relentless with guillotines and won.. Rogan was complimentary of his skill and he said all shy and quiet " thanks Joe".. Rogan was said his mustache was sweet too and he said "thanks Joe" the same way.. Rogan then went on to say he needs to write a book or make a DVD about his chokes and dude was like "they have to pay me for that".. Rogan was like "I'll pay you!!"

i'm hoping tbh that more guys like velasquez come around, with the wrestling but also standup and bjj. i am fine with wrestling if it's part of a GnP tactic, but if all they do when on top is try to defend their top position then it gets dull so fast. also hope GSP's boxing training is going to see him stand more and be a bit more entertaining than he has been this past few fights.

Yeah, Maynard may be able to lay on Frankie for 5 rounds, which as a fight would suck.

I don't have a problem with peeps on the ground, even if they're not throwing bombs, if they're trying to go for a better position. It's the lay and pray that irks me.

Wrestling is still important cause being able to determan where the fight happens is a huge advantage..

I thought McKenzie's "guillotine" finish was more of a neck crank than a choke.

Mostly due the fact that:

A. the arm was around the chin. (rather than around the throat)

and

B. the Guy's neck was bent in a hideous fashion.

Yeah it was def compression not restriction..

Nam got screwed with a power drill by those judges. Fucking horrible. I agree that the crowd was booing the decision more so that the fighter.

McKenzie baffles me. I don't know whether to believe in him or count him out. That guillotine is amazing, and he has the arm length to apply it from a lot of different angles, but I'm not sure that's going to fly once he steps up in competition.
