UFC 124..

TJ Grant vs Ricardo Almeida

Thiago Alves vs John Howard

Pat Audinwood vs John Makdessi

Matthew Riddle vs Sean Pierson

Jim Miller vs Charles Oliveira

Stefan Struve vs Sean McCorkle

Jesse Bongfeldt vs Rafael Natal

Joe Stevenson vs Mac Danzig

Joe Doerksen vs Dan Miller

Mark Bocek vs Dustin Hazelett

Georges St-Pierre vs Josh Koscheck

I hope GSP finishes kos..

Doerlson vs miller will be fight of the night..

CSL 12-11-2010 06:11 PM

If GSP wins (which I'm assuming) I hope he knocks him the fuck out or something. If he just out-wrestles him for 5 rounds, that'd be shit. Koscheck out-wrestling GSP however would be such a spectacle that I wouldn't mind. Basically I want one to kick the fuck out of the other. If it comes down to lying on each other, I want Koscheck to win. Don't really care about anything else except maybe Joe Daddy.

Next Big Thing 12-11-2010 06:15 PM

I have mixed feelings about the main event. Part of me wants GSP to win big, but there's a part of me that's hoping Koscheck beats GSP and then dismantles Shields while B.J. takes out Fitch and we get to see Koscheck v. Penn this time next year. With Koscheck's shit talk and B.J.'s temper/ own shit talk I think that would be fun.

Stefan Struve intrigues me as a fighter and him and McCorkle are my sleeper for fight of the night.

I think Alves KOs Howard in the first round and gets knock out of the night.

IC Champion 12-11-2010 06:38 PM

Koscheck has no chance of winning, he'll gas before the end of the the third round.

Nicky Fives 12-11-2010 08:22 PM

any good streams out there?

The Naitch 12-11-2010 09:48 PM

GSP vs. Kos will go to a decision. Bank on that

Next Big Thing 12-11-2010 09:50 PM

If it goes to a decision and the judges score in favor of Kos... All hell is gonna break loose and it will be awesome to watch.

Jura 12-11-2010 11:19 PM

I'M NOT IMPRESSED BY YOUR PERFORMANCE.

CSL 12-12-2010 01:36 AM

GSP's not bad I guess.

Next Big Thing 12-12-2010 01:40 AM

Jake Shields had better be working on his striking.

IC Champion 12-12-2010 01:42 AM

Best alive right now.

Jakes Sheilds better hope he can submit GSP.

What Would Kevin Do? 12-12-2010 02:13 AM

GSP looked great. I expected more out of KOS, but I really can't blame him when his eye essentially got wrecked within 3 minutes of the first round.

Blitz 12-12-2010 02:44 AM

Georges St. Pierre.

Krimzon7 12-12-2010 10:10 AM

That jab was LETHAL! Kos had a snowball's chance in hell coming in, when his eye became a pussy....fuggitaboutit

Alves/Doomsday was a Muay Thai Clinic. Holy shitsnacks Alves looked great. His pysique(SP) was impeccable, his technique was phenomenal.

what a phantom punch Danzig

Olivera knows that leg locks are fifty/fifty that loss is all on him. Well, credit to miller for going for it, and switching BEAUTIFULLY between toe hold/kneebar

I know, but it's much more likley then Shields having a chance on his feet.

Next Big Thing 12-12-2010 02:21 PM

Shields has no fucking chance either way, but considering GSP is going to dictate the fight and is well aware of Shields' brilliance on the ground and weakness striking, it makes sense for Shields to prepare for a stand up fight the best he can.

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 02:26 PM

Who is gonna beat GSP? It may have to be one of these new breed collegiate wrestlers like a more developed Rick Story who was fairly impressive against Johnny Hendricks who I think is a beast.

Don't get me wrong it is a longggggggggggggggggggg shot, but if the guy keeps developing he's got great wrasslin, and he can def strike better than Koscheck, give him a couple years and maybe he cud be a viable contender.

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 02:30 PM

actually wait Story isn't a collegiate wrestler I don't think, just one of those guys with great MMA wrestling, like GSP.

Reavant 12-12-2010 02:43 PM

story was a college wrestler.... they even said so on the broadcast

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 02:55 PM

well I obviously didn't hear them say that you dipshit :p either way it's inconsequential to what I was saying, he's the only type of dude I could see eventually beating gsp, extremely well rounded. The main difference is GSPs ability to find his range

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 02:58 PM

And all the other aspects he's far superior in.

Kris P Lettus 12-12-2010 03:35 PM

Anthony "Rumble" Johnson

:'(

Kris P Lettus 12-12-2010 03:38 PM

Also, BJ is always dangerous, no matter how bad he gassed the last time they fought.. GSP couldn't put him away, which seems to be a problem with everyone he fights, but a focused, ready BJ Penn is a dangerous man..

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 03:48 PM

Georges has beat him twice. Oh and not coming out for the 5th round is being put away.

AND LOL Rumble Johnson? hahahaha you gotta fucking be kidding me.

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 03:48 PM

oh didn't see the crying face after. :p

Kris P Lettus 12-12-2010 04:06 PM

Matt Hughes made BJ look bad the second tome they fought (war crucifix) but BJ destroyed him the next time.. Serra proved gsp can be ko'd and Penn proved he still has the hands to murk mofos..

I love Rumble..

:(

Seriously thought he was the biggest threat to gsp untill the kos fight..

GSP would put Buddah on his back, and then he would just make a million excuses afterwards, nobody wants to see that again.

Hughes only made BJ look so bad because BJ injured his rib during the fight, apparently.

Watch Hughes/Penn I..

IC Champion 12-12-2010 04:18 PM

That was years ago and GSP is a more explosive and better wrestler now than Hughes was IMO.

And I've seen it. Penn will never beat GSP, ever.

Kris P Lettus 12-12-2010 04:19 PM

You can't say that in MMA..

People said that about Serra and look at what happened..

Kris P Lettus 12-12-2010 04:22 PM

Also, a year and a half ago Penn was labeled as unbeatable at 155.. Along came Frankie Edgar.. Everyone has "that guy"..

Couture has Tito's number like Rampage has Liddell's number like Liddell has Couture's number, so on and so forth..

IC Champion 12-12-2010 04:23 PM

Yeah, but GSP took Serra lightly, and at the time you can't blame him. Serra probably should never have been in the cage with GSP in the first place, GSP got caught, it happens. You should have known after part 2 it was little more than a lucky punch.

Tito was never that good to begin with, he was overrated and ducked fighters, not to mention he level of competetion wasn't all that high.

IC Champion 12-12-2010 04:25 PM

And Chuck Liddell got old and punch drunk.

Because Edgar is faster, more athletic, a better boxing, and a much better wrestler than Penn.

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-12-2010 04:45 PM

Thanks for doing all the debating here IC, I need not say anymore other than you're correct on all fronts.
