jack black's travels

dunno, anyone gonna go see this gulliver's travels remake with jack black in it? i like him and all but i don't think i like him as an actor particularly. he is physically incapable of playing any role that is not just himself exaggerated or not even exaggerated at all.

"The plot, according to news, centers on Lemuel Gulliver (Jack Black), a free-spirited travel writer who, on an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious, yet tiny, people."

horrible tagline. dunno, i just refuse to refer to him as anything other than 'jack black'. he is the george clooney of mid-range comedy.

I was looking forward to this until I saw the horrible tagline.

Refer to my incredible midget friend as a Lilyputian pretty frequently. Hope this flops enough so I can continue doing so.

Can't imagine a movie starring Jack Black that wouldn't have him making stupid ass sounds with his mouth.

Remember there was this romantic movie where he had a serious role or something and of course he started doing this stupid shit while playing the piano.

He would have to play a mute in that movie.

The Ted Danson version is a masterpiece. I stop dead on my tracks if it's on TV.

I hope not. I think it's just because he travels to a land where he is the big guy in the small midget pond with Marshall from How I Met Your Mother in it.
