I dont often post in the wrestling forum, but Inno just showed me this video. Sent it on AIM. I may be just reminiscing because I am mad baked. But honestly what I miss the most are moments like this.

The Hype that was created before this match was at levels I had never seen, never was I more anxious to see a match as I was in the days leading up to this moment.

I remember Rock vs Angle at No Way Out and being pissed because Angle won.:(

I miss Lance Storm walking around with almost every canadian title, and being serious for a minute. :(

I don't quite consider Swagger to be a replacement for Angle. Swagger barely wins since he was drafted from ECW.

You miss someone getting beaten down by 10 guys and somehow coming back and gaining the upperhand?

Angle will be back my friends.... only a matter of time..... he will be the next "Undertaker" once Taker retires...... wrestling only a few Smackdown/Raw matches, every PPV and never at house shows....

I thought for sure that one thing you miss about wrestling would be the part where they wrestle.

Rock, Austin, HHH, Angle, Taker, Kane, Jericho, Benoit, Eddie, Edge, Christian, Hardys, Dudleys, Trish, Lita, Molly Holly. Victoria.

Those names were tops in their profession during wrestlings best years. Fuck I miss those days.

I feel ya man Those were some of the biggest names in the ATTITUDE AREA... I just miss the entire NON PG ERA

Jesus, the APA, Crash and Hardcore, Blackman, Test and Albert, Viscera, Gangrel, Storm, La Resistance.

All these names evoke memories of a time I wanted to watch wrestling.

AH, I thought this was a "I miss the Attitude Era" thread in disguise. Turns out I waas right.

I just would watch Raw and wait around for or tape the Nitro rerun- unless Raw bored the shit out of me (which it was apt to do from time to time with certain main event people chewing up airtime.)

I miss every time someone went through a table, it ended up being the Spanish announcer table. It would also be the only other time Lawler and JR would mention the Spanish announcers in a RAW episode or PPV.

I miss the blood and violence

I miss it when there were legitimate shockers. Not just shit for the purposes of grabbing attention, but some greatness came out of nowhere. Remember when Stephanie McMahon announced that there would be a SmackDown!-exclusive Tag Team Championship, and she randomly ordered Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit to be tag team partners? Those matches with Edge & Rey Mysterio and Los Guerreros were amazing, and there was entertaining stuff behind it.

I don't think I've ever been prouder to be a wrestling fan in the time spanning from 2003 (SmackDown!'s 2003, anyway) to 2004. Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero closing the show together is a moment that could have closed wrestling's history. Who has a story like that these days? Christian and John Morrison are perhaps the only two, and even then, it's iffy.
