What Next For Tyson Kidd? *RAW Spoiler*

Ok so they turned him heel and let him run his mouth. Last night on RAW he confronted Daniel Bryan and told him he was going to be the next US Champion. Moments later he and his bodyguard were squashed in mere minutes by Mark Henry. What's the point? How is threatening the champion and then squashing him to a 14 year mid carder a good thing?

Why? What do you think is going to happen to Kidd? How can they justify him being in the US title scene when he and his new bodyguard both got killed by a mild pop lifer of the mid card?

Loose Cannon 12-28-2010 06:23 PM

yea, this is exactly the things they do were I go "wtf were they thinking there" Because yea, why have him give a threatning promo if you're going to squash him moments later? His bodyguard is now worthless as well. I mean what the fuck was that

Schlomey 12-28-2010 06:24 PM

Exactly. They want this new bodyguard to get over? Right? Why make him look like a threat only to have him get the squash (literally) from a guy they KNOW will not be their future (Henry).

Idiot booking.

Juan 12-28-2010 06:32 PM

I know Kidd lost the match, but was that really a squash?

Xero 12-28-2010 06:34 PM

No, pretty clear Kidd is going to win the US title next week. Really strong showing this week. Best booked push in a while. :y:

Cool King 12-28-2010 06:37 PM

Maybe it was just to start off something for Jackson Andrews. Maybe we'll see a Henry/Andrews thing start up now.

Or we'll probably see a tag team match next week consisting of Bryan & Henry vs Kidd & Andrews which the latter team would win, thus giving Kidd a reason to chase the US Championship. It'll be a "he beat the US Champion" sorof thing.

Looks like Tyson was on offense pretty much the whole time until he got caught in the air with the WSS.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-28-2010 06:38 PM

Whats Next?

This is next: WWE has come to terms on the Release of Tyson Kidd and Jackson Andrews. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

the problem is the TIME of the match, to me. A guy vying to become number 1 contender lost a match (regardless of his offense) in 2 minutes. Does that mean the WWE doesn't think he deserved a longer match? Can Henry only go for 2 minutes at a time? These are good thoughts...hence the thread.

Schlomey 12-28-2010 06:44 PM

I could be "jumping the gun" coming to the conclusion that WWE screwed up, but it was their fault I feel that way due to letting him cut a cocky promo right before losing a 2 minute match.

Xero 12-28-2010 06:46 PM

The bigger problem is having the bodyguard get destroyed. The loss would have been fine had Kidd gotten the last laugh. But he didn't. It made them both look bad when it was all said and done.

Schlomey 12-28-2010 06:47 PM

So, Xero..You are smart and popular (and kinda pretty)....what do you think they will do with them?

Xero 12-28-2010 06:49 PM

Knowing WWE, they'll just continue with the push, Kidd will get into a non-PPV program with Bryan and lose in the end. Probably blow it off with Bryan eliminating Kidd from the Rumble.

Schlomey 12-28-2010 06:50 PM

While we are at it....Throw in DH Smith to this equation. Along with Kidd/Andrews, what do you think the WWE will do with Smith in 2011?

Eklipse 12-28-2010 06:51 PM

I cant take him seriously until he snips that hair.

Xero 12-28-2010 06:52 PM

Smith will come back in the Rumble, go onto feud with Kidd and get released by summer.

Schlomey 12-28-2010 06:54 PM

Smith should go to SD and feud with Ziggler for the IC title. I would enjoy that feud.

Lock Jaw 12-28-2010 07:43 PM

The Goomba has looked good since his heel turn. Like someone said, it wouldn't be so bad losing to Henry if he got the last laugh. However, they then totally destroyed the bodyguard's image with having Henry get one up on him as well.

Things aren't so bad that they can't be salvaged though. Just have a beatdown on Henry next week and all will be right in the world.

ooTin 12-28-2010 07:51 PM

That was the first in ring action that we have seen from this "Giant of a man" and he gets squashed my Mark Henry. So I would have to agree that he is now not a threat to anyone.... unless they are pushing Mark

Supreme Olajuwon 12-28-2010 07:57 PM

Have a feeling they'll beat the shit out of Henry next week.

SOCCER LEGS 12-28-2010 07:57 PM

my take on the matter when i saw the match was that WWE had given up on both of these goofy retards and is moving on.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-28-2010 07:59 PM

I mean we've seen countless times in feuds where the heel goes over, WWE will give the face the victory the first time around, especially when the face is an established guy. I'm not a fan of doing it like that but I'm not writing off Kidd either.

Triple Naitch 12-28-2010 08:05 PM

Somebody said it in another thread, but Jackson Andrews is the least threatening looking big man ever.

I agree with this. It's really not a big deal if Henry got the upper hand for one week.

Ultra Mantis 12-28-2010 08:06 PM

It's not like they got taken out by Yoshi Tatsu. Henry will get probably get destroyed next week and they will play off the whole "if they can do this to Mark Henry, who took out both guys last week, how is tiny little Daniel Bryan going to survive?"

Supreme Olajuwon 12-28-2010 08:06 PM

I like that. That's a good spin to put on this.

Kidd reminds me of a more flamboyant Crash Holly for some reason.

Xero 12-28-2010 10:45 PM

lol I could actually see that. I think it's his size and his facial expressions.

Lock Jaw 12-28-2010 10:48 PM

I maintain that Kidd = Goomba

Mr. Nerfect 12-28-2010 11:07 PM

I really love Tyson Kidd, so I hope his push isn't being halted. To be honest, it's probably just that sort of "anti-push" the WWE gives a guy. Kidd talks big, is defeated, and we have more reason to hate him, because he's not as good as he thinks he is (although he will probably beat Henry later). Also, Mark Henry seems like someone who will be in the Royal Rumble Match, and thus they might want to make him look like a threat.

I, personally, would have gone with Kidd winning, and then he and Jackson Andrews attacking Daniel Bryan after his match against Zack Ryder. David Hart Smith could have made the save there, and we could have gotten Daniel Bryan & DH Smith vs. Tyson Kidd & Jackson Andrews next week.

Part of me is sort of liking the idea of Daniel Bryan vs. Tyson Kidd for the US Title at the Rumble PPV.

chrisat928 12-29-2010 12:09 AM

This was WWE's reaction to the IWC calling Tyson Kidd and his bodyguard the next Shawn Micheals and Diesel.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Droford 12-29-2010 12:09 AM

Next week on RAW Mark Henry turns heel setting up Henry/Bryan

Properly Stupid booking here, They should at least of had the bodyguard destroy Henry. They should have also had Mason Ryan be the bodyguard, this guy looks greener than the giant on my sweetcorn tins.

RiX1024 12-29-2010 01:30 PM

What's next for Kidd? either JTTS or a slow early Owen Hart style push.
