So who's going to win the Royal Rumble?
 

Alberto Del Rio? John Morrison? Those are my two favorites, I think. I also think Punk will have something to do with Cena being eliminated.

Dolph Ziggler maybe.

Ziggler would have been a decent pick otherwise, I think.

I'd really like to see somebody like Cody Rhodes win it. Del Rio would be just fine, though.

If a Raw guy wins, it's Morrison. If a SD guy wins, it's Del Rio. Dark horse pick has to be Sheamus.

I still think Sheamus will be working with Triple H at Wrestlemania, and I doubt it'll be a title program unless Triple H returns and wins an Elimination Chamber or something stupid.

CM Punk seems to fit the bill.

I'm not counting out Big Show winning it. This is the most over he's ever been and I dunno if Del Rio and Morrison are quite there yet.

What if there was some shocking winner like Chris Masters or somebody, but instead of going for a major title, he used his shot for the Intercontinental title? How angry would you be on a scale of one to ten?

I dunno. I like the Royal Rumble more than WrestleMania so to increase my enjoyment of the Rumble by doing something shocking while decreasing my enjoyment of WrestleMania, I guess I would be fine with it.

It might not even ruin Wrestlemania. You'd still have your other title matches, but people would have to earn them some other way. It would just put an Intercontinental title match on the card.

I feel like I remember him saying something about wanting the win the Rumble on Raw like three weeks ago. Maybe Punk can screw him out of a qualifying match and go on to win it himself.

In a TITLE match, though? Everybody in that Rumble is competing for the same thing that the contenders in the title match already have that very night. The only difference is what show it would happen on.

I don't remember anyone pulling double duty after a world title match. IC title match guys have been in the Rumble but that doesn't count.

The ones that won't surprise me are Barrett, Punk, and Morrison.

The closest was Chavo after defending his ECW heavyweight title. It still doesn't count.

And for everybody's information, Kurt Angle lost a triple threat WWE title match in 2005, then entered the Rumble after stealing Nunzio's number.

<font color=goldenrod>I honestly can't see it being anyone other than Cena or Punk, and whichever of those doesn't win the Rumble will win the title at Elimination Chamber, and the Rumble winner will then announce that they are facing their nemesis at Mania.

I definitely think Cena/Punk will last until Mania, but unless he's fighting the Undertaker I don't think Cena is ever going to not be in a Mania title match.

Couple that with the fact that I think Lawler is gonna get his Mania match this year and the only logical guy for him to fight is The Miz, so they'll have to get the belt off of him in February.</font>

Actually seems likely that Vickie would put Ziggler in the Rumble after he loses his match.

I'd actually be suprised if this DOESN'T happen at the Rumble to be honest. It really does seem like something WWE would do.

If they somehow managed to keep a Batista return secret and he won it, I think it would be pretty sick. Otherwise I'm going with Wade Barrett, I feel like it's the only real way for that character to recover from the shitting on he's received recently.

To pick a winner for the Rumble, you must exclude the people you believe who will be feuding at Wrestlemania. I strongly believe Sheamus will face HHH, CM Punk will face Cena, Barrett will face Undertaker. Now If they have a Money In The Bank match, Morrison will be a MUST.

The only person I can see winning it, and is not on the list above, is Alberto Del Rio. So he is my pick.

The only thing is, you can't ensure Miz goes into Wrestlemania as champion. Any one of the three feuds you mentioned could potentially be a title fight. Remember, that shitfest known as the Elimination Chamber happens in 2 months.
