Guru Dave's Wrestling Quiz Time!! **UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT**

1. How many times has the World Wrestling Entertainment Championship changed hands in a steel cage match?

2. Name three wrestlers to have won both a Lightweight division championship belt and a World Championship in the WWE.

3. Who has had the shortest World Championship reign in the history of WWE?

4. Who is the only male superstar to have won the WWE Women's Championship? :|

I will add reputation to the individual who can answer atleast two of the above correctly.

CSL 01-16-2011 08:52 PM

1. Dunno, even if I sat here and thought about it I'd be bound to miss some

2. Jeff Hardy, Rey, Christian or Matt Hardy if you're counting the ECW title as World title, Eddie or Jericho if you're counting WCW

3. Yoko probably

4. Harvey Wippleman although he was a manager

You got the 2nd and 4th correct. I will share some of my humble rep with you.

CSL 01-16-2011 08:57 PM

Only other ones I can think of off the top of my head for shortest reign are Cena before Vince bought Batista out, the MITB cash ins and the Championship scramble matches, all of which I think (not 100%) were longer than Yoko at WM IX

CSL 01-16-2011 08:58 PM

Oh, it says World championship. I'm guessing you mean WHC specifically?

Stealth-Icon 01-16-2011 08:58 PM

I think that # 3 is Jeff Hardy, but not sure how my titles changed in the cage, we will go with 8

MoFo 01-16-2011 08:59 PM

Shortest reign maybe Chris Jericho beating Triple H?

CSL 01-16-2011 08:59 PM

Why am I posting in here so much? I'm gonna go play PS3.

I have answered it in the rep that I gave you. Although it is incorrect.

It can either be the WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, the ECW Championship or even the World (WCW) Championship.

No.

Nope. It wasn't even considered as an official reign.

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 09:04 PM

I didn't do research. I don't know number 2.

1. None
3. Yokozuna. He won it at Wrestlemania 9 from Bret Hart....then lost to Hulk Hogan. either him or Kane, who won it at King of the Ring 1999 then lost it the next night on Raw.
4. Harvey Wippleman

GD 01-16-2011 09:06 PM

Thou shall receive of my humble rep in a few.

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 09:07 PM

OHH! I know the answer! Andre the Giant. He won from Hulk Hogan then sold "the world world wrestling tag team championship" to Ted Dibiase. Although there's no footage of him saying this on the internet anywhere, I've read it in such books like Chris Jericho's biography and Wrestlecrap: The worst of Pro Wrestling

GD 01-16-2011 09:09 PM

That is correct.

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 09:10 PM

Hit me with another one. Make it an open ended question

CSL 01-16-2011 09:11 PM

lol yeah, I'm not sure Ezekial Jackson would have been the best answer for that question ;)

GD 01-16-2011 09:11 PM

All the four answers have been answered correctly.

1. Never.

2. Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio Jr. and Christian Cage.

3. Andre The Giant.

4. Harvey Wippleman.

Pretty sure that footage is on a bunch of places online although that's not the exact line

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 09:13 PM

Can you find it for me?

GD 01-16-2011 09:13 PM

I will come back with a new set of questions. In the mean time anyone can take my place as the quiz master.

CSL 01-16-2011 09:14 PM

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VBWVugnXjJA?fs=1&amp;hl=en_GB"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VBWVugnXjJA?fs=1&amp;hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

lol what an angle

CSL 01-16-2011 09:15 PM

And I still think Yoko's reign was shorter ;)

DLVH84 01-16-2011 09:18 PM

1. 0
2. Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio, Jr. - WWE Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight and WWE/World titles-wise.
3. Yokozuna
4. Harvey Whippleman (Thank God, Jacqueline kicked his ass.)

And to PorkSoda, it was 1998 that Kane won the title at King Of The Ring and lost the title the next night on RAW.

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 09:19 PM

He says the world tag team championship. lol.

Here's one: ECW had in mind somebody else in mind before they came across Joey Styles as an announcer. What was his name?

CSL 01-16-2011 09:42 PM

M-m-m-m-m-Mick Karsh

CSL 01-16-2011 09:43 PM

I have no question btw so if somebody else wants to ask another one

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 09:48 PM

Steve Austin faced off against The Rock at Wrestlemania 19. Steve Austin's vest had the acronym "OMR." What does OMR stand for?

CSL 01-16-2011 10:06 PM

One More Round maybe given it was his last match? Lemme know if it's right and I'll have a go at a question.

I think that makes sense, CSL. I believe that's right, since it was his very last match.

PorkSoda 01-16-2011 10:24 PM

Yes, that was right.

CSL 01-16-2011 10:28 PM

Alreet, who won the match that first featured a run-in from an invading WCW wrestler during the 'Invasion' angle?

loopydate 01-16-2011 10:32 PM

Steve Blackman

CSL 01-16-2011 10:33 PM

Almost

Triple Naitch 01-16-2011 10:37 PM

Al Snow

CSL 01-16-2011 10:41 PM

Nuy. Lou P. Date is half right but not completely.

Xero 01-16-2011 10:42 PM

Rhyno. If you're counting the win itself and not the preceding match, Mike Awesome.

Xero 01-16-2011 10:47 PM

Fuck, just realized I was off by a day. Won't answer, though I do know who it was.

thedamndest 01-16-2011 10:47 PM

What was Typhoon's finisher?

I am asking this because I don't know.

Xero 01-16-2011 10:51 PM

450 Splash.

Nah, me thinks you're thinking of Austin ;)

Loopy Date has 50% of the correct answer.
