If Rey Mysterio were taller, would he have gotten as far as he has? Further?
 

Let's say that, instead of being like 5'4, Rey was 6 feet. He'd still have basically the same style (tweaked for his height) and everything else would be the same.

Do you think he would have gotten as far as he has in WWE? Or in the business in general? How much do you think his height has helped or hurt his career?

Nah, it's his size that makes him what he is. If he was taller there's no way he could have pulled off the moves he did which made him a star in ECW and WCW to start with.

It's really impossible to tell what style he would be wrestling in with an increased size and therefore impossible to tell if he would be over as his size is as much a part of his gimmick as his mask.

He probably would have been just as successful in WCW, but in WWE he wouldn't have constantly been put over as the ultimate underdog.

His size is what made him unique. So, I don't think he would have been as famous. Lismark Junior was 6'2". So, he is a very good example of what Rey Mysterio would have been if he was a little bit taller.

If he was as agile as he is used to be and up until now then i'd say there was a chance he could have had more championship reigns but that's about it.

I don't really see how you cannot be satisfied with Rey's success, all things considered. He's smaller than most of the Diva's and he's a two time World Champion, and a huge portion of WWE's merchandise income.

I doubt it. Part of his whole gimmick/character/success is the fact that he's an über underdog.

The only thing I know with certainty is that he wouldn't be able to sing Skee-Lo's "I wish" in the shower.

Nope. His size brought him to where he is. I just would love to see the old Rey currently [move wise]. That would be interesting.
