ALL TIME FAVORITE MOMENT IN WRESTLING.
 

Mine was at New Year's Revolution 2006. It was here in Albany NY, just the second PPV to ever come here. At the end of the night, my FAVORITE wrestler off all-time, Edge, won the Championship after two spears. I went home with the biggest and happiest smile you could imagine a 17 year old having.

So what is your all time favorite moment? That had you smiling oh so happily?

Benoit winning at wm20 and then hugging Eddie G

I'd say the emergence of the WolfPac.

Hogan vs Rock

I was there and it was indescribable.

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin WM13, Hart with the sharpshooter, Austin with the Crimson Mask.

Mankind losing vs Ken Shamrock because Mankind used the mandible claw on himself instead of tapping out to the ankle lock. You won't see creative finishers like that anymore.

Triple H vs Shawn Michaels - SummerSlam 2002

The debut of the Burnning Hammer.
Chris Benoit winning the Heavyweight title at Wrestlemania.
Iron Sheik shoot interviews.
Jimi Hendrix in pro wrestling. The only thing Hogan did right.
Mankind getting thrown off and through the Hell In The Cell cage.
Staying up till 1am every saturday to watch ECW.

Besides your difficulty counting, some of those are ricockulous.

Seriously, nothing will ever, EVER top this moment for me in pro wrestling. At this point Chris Benoit had been my all time favourite wrestler for nine years, and Eddie Guerrero was, well... Eddie Guerrero! Really emotional moment and really 'magical'. I had a tear in my eye watching this I was so happy for both men. Nothing in wrestling will ever have such an emotional effect like this did.

When Stone Cold beat HBK And Greatest Era Of Wrestling began

I felt they could have done that moment sooooo much better. Instead of having Vince come out just have Edge's music hit and have him come out with the briefcase and ref.

Hard. But probably Austin hunting down Vince and making him piss his pants in the ring.

Nah, not really.

It would have to be Shawn Michaels winning the WHC in the Elimination Chamber.

I'll probably get some heat for this but Rey Mysterio winning the title at Mania against Kurt Angle and Rady Orton was an amazing moment for me and made me mark out more than I may ever have in my life. Until that moment I really never would have guessed that Rey would ever be a world champion.

That's one of my favorite moments as well. It's funny because John Cena is one of my all time favorites. I just marked out because it was awesome to see Edge finally win a title. On another note, John Cena vs. Edge is one of my top ten feuds of all time.

A lot of stuff in 2001 mostly, such as

* Rock and Austin in the main event of Wrestlemania and some of the best promos and video packages ever created by the WWE.
* The purchase of WCW and the simulcast on Nitro
* The ECW invasion, the Invasion PPV and in particular RVD vs Jeff Hardy
* Getting tickets for the Invasion UK-only PPV in Manchester
* Edge and Christian's break-up and subsequent feud

It was a great year for wrestling.

Foley being introduced as the fourth entry into the Fatal Fourway for the WWF Title at Wrestlemania 16. I was 12 or 13 at the time and pretty much thought he had legitimately been fired by Triple H.

That "My Way" package is easily my favorite promo video to this day.

Probably would have picked the Benoit/Eddie moment from WMXX, but the moment has been so tarnished for me. Hate that.

Loads of stuff. Monday Night wars.

Everyone seemed to have their time. Rock was battling Austin on a bridge, E&C were funny and had just left the Brood when the TT division was hot. dX were battling everyone, Vince was a bastard and we still had time for Taka Michinoku.

Why do people think Benoit is in heaven? I've seen this more than one place. It's like Christians don't believe in Hell for people they like.

If Chris Benoit is in Heaven, he's probably at a Titty Bar on Stormcloud Ave shooting up roids and heroin with Hitler.

Everyone had a character and identity. From top to bottom, if you were a regular, you had some type of gimmick or character that made your stand out. There were very few generic guys who were just there. Versus today where 70% of the roster doesn't have an identity.

when goldurg beat hogan on nitro in the dome i jumped up off da couch when the match was over!!!!

And if I had to pick, it would be the moment that made me a fan for life.

"Mike Tyson in! Austin is the Champion! Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold!"

Man, JRs call at WM 14 made me a wrestling fan for life.
