Jericho might be returning
 

During an interview with Brian Fritz of Fanhouse.com, former WWE superstar Chris Jericho hinted that he’s not as far from returning to WWE as some may think. Here are some highlights of what Jericho said about:

Returning To WWE: “I consider it always because it’s not like it was in 2005 where I was sick of wrestling. Sick of it is maybe a harsh word. Disenchanted, I guess, is a better word.”

“I wasn’t disenchanted when I left in September. It was just my contract was up. That was it. And there were other things just waiting to come through. Even if I was coming back, I always would have taken those four months, three months off to do the Fozzy tours. Then other things have kind of popped up to delay my return.”

His WWE Contract Status: “I mean, there’s a deal on the table,” he said. “A deal on the table that’s 90-percent done. There’s a couple of minor things that we had to hammer out. It would just be a matter of what other stuff is going on and how that stuff is going.”

I miss Jericho on my TV so much. But I respect the man for wanting to pursue other things in the meanwhile. I'm hoping he comes back real soon. If I were to guess he'll probably come back around Summer Slam season figuring July or August.

WWE turned Jericho into a gay ass/cry baby.. no offense Jericho has a lot to give but look at the past 2 years what have they done, Made Jericho leave and cry his way out of WWE thanks to the firing from Eric and then make him return as a gay boy

His return was awesome and levying the way he did was how Jericho wanted to leave.

That's how he wants to go out, he's said that numerous times.

Yep, hes said on numerous occasions he never would want that HBK/Flair sendoff. His character is a dick, he needs to go out whining and crying conspiracy about it.

Didn't he just say recently he was done with wrestling for now? I'm confused.

He was touring, and he said he was always open to returning.

It just wasn't a priority.

Btw.. Jericho is a awesome heel. I want to kick him in the face like the Miz everytime I see him.

Wrestlemania won't be Wrestlemania without Chris Jericho. :(

He's pretty well off with money that if he doesn't want to come back, he doesn't need to. He started saving his money during his WCW days and once he got connected to Fozzy, it gave him another option should he ever get "bored" from wrestling.

I doubt when he retires, he would go to a The Rock level and never wrestle again but also won't be like Flair who can't just retire since he needs the money due to poor money management.

Whilst I should like to see him return for some WM action - if not that's also okay, so long as he is actually returning at some point :)

Part of me still thinks that Jericho is the Raw GM.

I doubt, even if he came back, he'd make his way back before Wrestlemania. There doesn't seem to be anyone for him to feud with right now, not until people get freed up. 'Course, they could always find a way to fit him in.

I'd love to see him make his return @ Wrestlemania, possibly costing Orton the match against Punk.

I hope this is true. Orton vs. Jericho would have been obvious for WrestleMania, but Orton doesn't really interest me. However, the guy is white hot right now, and Jericho would enhance that. I also want to see more Jericho vs. Daniel Bryan and Jericho vs. John Morrison.

Someone mentioned Jericho costing Orton the match at WrestleMania, and how awesome would that be? This is such a convoluted idea, but I would almost like to see it just because of the performers involved: Chris Jericho and CM Punk...joint leaders of the Nexus.

Punk's Nexus would not fit Jericho at all

i hope he is back soon. as hot as WWE is right now in their booking, and overall entertaining value, Jericho would push it over the top, and it would be the whole, "Damn its Tuesday? why cant it be Monday already?" feeling i used to get when i was younger
