I mean, at first I instantly thought Wade Barrett, then figured that they must have meant rookie as in 'actually making their pro debut', but then surely if that was the case Otunga wouldn't have been on NXT as he'd have already been in FCW. So why the fuck isn't Barrett even on that list? And what has Otunga actually done to justify such a title?

How is David Otunga rookie of the year and not Wade Barrett?

Also, laughter at Daniel Bryan being 3rd place as most popular.

Everyone remember that PWI is kayfabe, take it with a grain of salt.

David Otunga over Wade Barret? Obviously he must not consider him a rookie since he has been wrestling in FCW for a couple of years which is why he is located in the most improved category. The Pope the most improved? The Miz wins that hands down bob fucking ryder you sack of TNA scumsucking shit! Tamina doesn't even fucking wrestle!

Ryan Clark goes to bed dreaming how one day he'll be the next Bob Ryder.

Maybe he was future endeavoured as they've recycled that name and are calling it a stable now.

All the members of the Nexus other than Daniel Bryan. It should have been a group victory for the Nexus for best rookie as a tie.

Yeah but all of the other Nexus guys have been around longer than him. I'm sure Barrett would have won if he'd been around as long/short as Otunga. The majority of Otunga's career, from before he was on TV to where he is now has taken place in the last 12 months/during the 'judging period' for these awards. I'd say he's doing pretty damn well.

Probably because Barrett has been wrestling for a good 5 years longer than Otunga.

Not that I agree that Otunga should be the ROTY, but Otunga certainly fits the bill better.
