Has TNA evened out?

Wow, this Cheex guy makes the idea to bring back the Nasty Boys look like a stroke of genius. I thought this weeks Impact was another great show, do you think TNA is finally going in the right direction? They have cut alot of the older fat (Nasties, Sabu, Raven, The Band) and the card for Against All Odds looks almost worth buying. You have an X division match featuring all heels, the last woman standing match, some mid card matches (Bully Ray vs D-Von and Steiner's return to the ring) and two solid main events. It seems like a very even card, do you think TNA can continue to grow if they keep groing like this? |
No. The more things change the more they stay the same.
|
They need more time since TNA could just be using this as a transition period before they go out and start getting more old wrestlers or former WWE wrestlers to replenish the ones they lost.
TNA might be pushing more wrestlers and having better matches but they never changed their writers so its only a mater of time before Russo and others start doing the usual crazy ideas and run-ins. |
TNA Against All Odds card
*Samoa Joe vs. The Pope * Matt Hardy vs. RVD * Rob Terry, Gunner and Murphy vs. Scott Steiner and Beer Money * Street Fight: Bully Ray vs. Brother Devon and His Two Sons * 3 Way #1 Contenders Match For The X Title: Max Buck vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Robbie E * Last Knockout Standing Knockouts Title Match: Madison Rayne © vs. Mickie James * Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle (If Kurt Angle wins, he gets custody of his kids, if Jeff Jarrett wins, Kurt Angle has to walk Karen Jarrett down the aisle on March 3rd.) * TNA World Title Ladder Match: Mr. Anderson © vs. Jeff Hardy Honestly, the card doesn't interest me at all. The Scott Steiner match looks like a potential car wreck. Who are the tag and X division champs now? What's happened to MCMG? Why is there an X division number one contenders match on PPV but no X division title match? Weren't half of these matches on the last PPV? |
Things will only look up for TNA once Hogan is gone. Otherwise, half of the money they earn is likely to be going into his pocket.

Rob Terry vs Scott Steiner
that should be a great match |
Angle and Jarrett hate each other, that should be enough for a match. No need for 500 stipulations.

I've watched a bit of the recent shows, mainly as people posted the Jarrett/Angle stuff on here and it caught my interest. The shows as a whole didn't seem *terrible* but a bit of a mess. I just maybe put that down to not really haven't watched it much. Ever.
Personally, I think Anderson's 'total non-stop asshole' character is pretty great and the shit he was saying to Hardy was also pretty excellent. Though I still find myself back searching for 'Nash PCS Push Up Contest Directors Cut' on YouTube. |
"If Kurt Angle wins, he gets custody of his kids, if Jeff Jarrett wins, Kurt Angle has to walk Karen Jarrett down the aisle on March 3rd."
That alone should should put you off TNA |
i hope Jarrett wins so we get more 'Jarrett Family Values'
|
Jarretts Vs. Angles on the Family Feud next time TNA gets a chance to be on the feud.
Kurt, Eric, Kurts new fiancee, if Eric has a wife her and Kurt/Eric's mom Vs. Jeff jarrett, Karen, Jerry, and the two Jarrett daughters from him/his widow. |
HE WANTS HIS KIDS BACK! AND HE KNOWS HOW!!! (Beat Jeff Jarrett in a wrestling match)

The Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett stuff has been held back by stipulations. I don't like the The Pope's heel turn, but the match should be pretty good. Bully Ray vs. Brother Devon could deliver, even though both guys are older now. It's not the centre storyline, so it doesn't really bother me. Everything else is pretty solid. Beer Money will make that tag team match.
But for TNA to "even out," they need to consistently put good shows forward, and give their consumer what they want. Not constantly shock them and "one-up" themselves all the time. |
