Rock and Roll Express were one of the most popular tag teams in Jim Crockett Promotions in the mid 80's

I don't think you'd find any tag team get a pop like they did when they made their entrance today

They were basically so over the entire crowd went nuts as it was like a Beatles concert

After just finishing watching the Starrcade DVD ( I know its been out a while but my local wal-mart currently has a display of $10 Wrestling DVDs....also picked up the Triple H King of Kings and Allied Powers Tag Teams - going back for more after payday)

I remember the days of wrestling and not sports entertainment. Back when a 2 hour show had 30 mins of talking max and 90 mins of matches as opposed to todays 90 mins of talking and 30 mins of matches.

But all the Greats that came from that era, Dusty, Flair, the Koloffs, Magnum TA, The Road Warriors, Midnight Express Rock and ROll Express, the list goes on and on

It's a shame that I saw the end of JCP, when I started watching in 1988. I was lucky to see the very first Clash of the Champions, where Sting and Ric Flair wrestled to a 45-Minute draw. It had some great wrestling.
