Kerry Von Erich Appreciation Thread
 
Just found out that 18 yrs ago on the same day the wrestling world lost Eddie Gilbert that 2 yrs earlier Kerry Von Erich committed suicide

Sadly I never got to see Kerry in his glory days in WCCW til my teen yrs and by then he had already died

amazingly enough Kerry was pretty decent in WWF after I learned a few yrs ago he only had one foot as he lost the other one in 1986 in a motocycle accident

lol what, 'roid freak'? He may have been on gear at some point but he was hardly Warlord big. He was one of the smaller guys around if anything, especially his last year or so in WWE.

If David never died, he would've beaten Ric Flair for the NWA World title.

As for Kerry, I was amazed that he still wrestled after having his foot amputated. I also heard rumors that he potrayed the Ultimate Warrior, when Warrior returned in 1992 with shorter hair and a smaller frame.

favorite memories of him were him beating Mr Perfect for the IC title. And when he teamed with Warrior and LOD against Perfect and Demolition at Survivor Series 90'.

I saw Survivor Series 91 a while back and he was moving pretty well for a guy w/ 1 foot.

Yep he used a prosthetic foot after losing one foot due to a motocycle accdent in 1986
