Now we see why fedor didn't go to the UFC

After his recent fights we can see why Fedor ducked on the UFC. He was doing good with his image of being the best by facing less than stellar handpicked competition, but once he stepped up his game JUST A LITTLE bit by facing some more credible guys like Werdum and Silva he got destroyed.

If you look at it when he was offered a UFC deal last, he wouldve probably faced Lesnar. The way that Silva beat Fedor...well if he was facing Lesnar, Fedor wouldve been slaughtered cuz Lesnar is a stronger advanced version of Silva.

I said this way back when Fedor ducked UFC but no one believed me.

Now it is obvious. He didnt wanna get destroyed by Brock. We know why.

Are you expecting a serious response, or do you expext the same retardiness in this thread as when you started it?

IC Champion 03-01-2011 01:24 PM

How can you even still ride Brocks dick the way you do after his last two outings? Maybe after he gets knocked out by JDS, you'll realize Brock isn't as bad a man as he would like you to believe.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 03-01-2011 01:30 PM

I wish Grablot wasn't such a retard, because some of his points are partially valid.

CSL 03-01-2011 01:34 PM

This has been said before by different people in various threads, the p.o.v is nothing new. Also, lol IC 'his last two outings'. You mean the ones where he lost the UFC Heavyweight title just a few years after starting out to possibly the very best HW on the planet and the one where he overcame being twatted by possibly the hardest hitting fighter on the planet to submit him? You people that bang on about others 'riding Brock's dick' are far more ridiculous with how desperate you all seem to see him crash and burn.

Reavant 03-01-2011 02:38 PM

Brock cant fight if hes getting hit in the face and its very possible that he would get hit by one of fedor's haymakers before he gets the takedown.

ALSO comparing brocks ground skills to silva's is retarded because they are completely different. Could brock hold fedor down like silva did? Probably, but he holds guys down a completely different way than silva does. If fedor scrambles out, he has no answer other than to lock him down, where silva can transition from postition to position because HES A FUCKING JUJITSU BLACK BELT.

IC Champion 03-01-2011 02:38 PM

I don't care what Brock does, win, or loses. He may have beaten Carwin but he was exposed in that fight, and then crushed in his next fight. He was fortunate that the Carwin fight wasn't stopped. He came back in the second round and submit a tired Carwin, but that doesn't change what happened in the first round, in which he was utterly dominated. But you're gonna stand by your man no matter what. So yes, he was dominated just a few years after being the best, DOMINATED.

IC Champion 03-01-2011 02:40 PM

I'm not even trying to hate on Brock, facts are just facts.

Excuse me but Brock wasnt the NCAA champion for nothing. Yes he has a weakness in strikes but his ground game is the best. He may not be a black belt in ju jitsu but he submitted a monster like Carwin and I am sure he wouldve submitted Fedor.

Yes, Lesnar isnt very good at strikes (YET) but lets look at some facts.

1) Fedor shown in his 2 past fights that he is in bad shape and cant handle guys who are really powerful like Silva. Brock is at least physically strong as Silva is.

2) Lesnar shown in his past 2 fights that he is weak against punches. However lets backtrack just a little bit. When Fedor couldve come into the UFC that was BEFORE Lesnar's surgery when he was running around smashing everyone. Lesnar before and after surgery is not the same lesnar. So, Lesnar back then would've had Fedor on the ground and controlled him.

3) I am not saying Brock would win 100%. But I think there was a VERY serious chance he wouldve won, probably 80% or so. Thats why Fedor and his camp got scared.

I think that Brock came back too soon. I am sure he is not 100% after his surgery and may have been affected by it for life. I am sure that if Brock faced his 3 last opponents before his surgery, he would have won decisevely!

Crimson 03-01-2011 03:06 PM

ok

Reavant 03-01-2011 03:08 PM

EXCUSE ME... Lesnar submitted a fellow wrestler. NOT a high level jits fighter. The way the two transition and pose offense on the ground is completely different.

Lesnar locks guys don and swings away with one hand while silva can get to a solid position and posture up to swing with both which allows for transition of the bottom guy and he is then able to transition to another dominant position to keep the attack going. If a guy is able to make space on ANY wrestler who isnt a higher level of jits, not just lesnar, then they will scramble to get the lock down position possibly losing it instead of flowing with the motion.

Fedor has not shown in any of his fights that he looked out of shape. He got caught in a submission in the first against werdum and got caught under a nearly 300 lb athletic jujitsu blackbelt in his second where he was able to move and stay active enough to not get finished and even threatened a submission himself.

Lesnars surgery is irrelevant in this because supposedly he was weaker before he had it. Also, he couldnt hold down randy couture so please dont come here saying he could keep anyone down.

You have presented zero facts there... good job.

fedor would have come to the ufc if the ufc would have been able to do business with his managers. They wanted a slice of the UFC pie in terms of co-promotion which is stupid. HEY he wouldnt be fighting against strikeforce heavyweights if strikeforce didnt co-promote with M1.

Brock > Fedor

The Mask 03-01-2011 04:03 PM

i reckon fedor would have beat brock.

but anyway, fedor is one of many 2005 era hot shit fighters who are getting left behind now. it's a ridiculously fast evolving sport at the moment and fedor screwed himself by not signing for the ufc and staying at a high level of competition.

Reavant 03-01-2011 04:45 PM

mask is a wise man

Sounds a lot like Fedor.

Maybe so, but that is beside the point.

lol "you're gonna stand by your man no matter what." Where have I blindly stated anything in here that gives you this impression? And lol the 'DOMINATED'. Wow. Point proven there guy. Would you like to state any more of the obvious? I didn't claim Brock was the best, I said he was beaten by the best (Cain) only a few years after starting and achieving more success than anybody on Earth thought possible and that he recovered from a twatting to beat the hardest punching fighter on the planet (Carwin). This is all. You may have noticed this if you weren't in such a hurry to slate him some more and get you 'DOMINATED' in. Brock could very well lose to JDS, I'm far from sure of anything with him after how his last 2 fights have gone. Only I'm not short-sighted enough that for whatever reason to not see that he has shocked people time and time again because he is pretty much a freak of nature. Of course he could lose his next fight, JDS is dangerous. He could also come out and maul the guy (which obviously I hope is the case) and I wouldn't be a bit surprised. The only person showing any kind of 'bias' in here is you sweetheart.

IC Champion 03-02-2011 01:33 PM

I'm not biased against Brock in anyway, I do hate his fans who seem to think the guy is a world beater, when he isn't atleast IMO. So saying he could lose makes you unbiased? Cause a sentence later you were hoping for him to win, that could be mistaken for bias, not that I'm saying you're biased.

Reavant 03-02-2011 01:40 PM

ummm IC..... Saying your pulling for someone doesnt make you biased. It makes you a fan or just means you like the fighter. Bias means your thoughts and opinions swayed by your thoughts of the fighter depending on whether you like them or not.

You are being biased lol

IC Champion 03-02-2011 01:54 PM

I'm really not trying to be biased here, I just stated facts about Brocks last 2 fights. I actually enjoy when Brock fights because of everything he brings in terms of entertainment, and because he fights are hyped to shit, and because there such big fights. I'm just not a fan or anything.
