Best/Worst Undertaker WM/Streak Matches
 

I'm not a fan of the "Phenom" and never was. His gimmick is over rated and slightly childish.

Anyway, I was just thinking about his streak and how it's such a big deal. Some of Taker's WM matches were epic, some...not so much.

I just want to know what you guys think was the best Taker WM match and the worst. I will start with mine.

Taker/HHH - Best (no. I don't think either of the HBK/Taker matches were as good as this)

Taker/Mark Henry (Casket Match) - Worst.

Best: Vs HBK at WM 25
Worst: Vs Giant Gonzales WM 9

Really? Really?!

Giant Gonzales match was great, i mean, i enjoyed it...especially for the commentary during the match :P

i remember thinking the bossman hiac match was decent when i watched it live. up until the ending anyway

Best-- vs HBK WM 25
Worst-- vs Big Show and A-train WM 19

Best: vs. HBK at WM 25, vs. Batista at WM 23, vs. Kane at WM 14, vs. Ric Flair WM 18
Worst: well, I would only really consider two of his Mania matches to be bad and those were vs. Giant Gonzales and King Kong Bundy.

Even though it's the worst Hell In The Cell ever, I don't dislike Taker vs. Bossman and I didn't mind Taker vs. Show/A-Train.

I did like the WM 26 main event as well, but I liked the feud better than the match for that one. I also really liked the matches he had with Orton and Edge. He usually has one of the better matches on the card for the most part.

Worst: King Kong Bundy at Wrestlemania 11
Best: Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 25

Best: HBK At Mania 25
Worst: Giant Gonzales WM 9

But his match against Diesel at Mania 12 and match against Flair at Mania 18 are very underrated because of the more high profile matches on those shows

Best: Micheals WM25
Worst: Big Show/A-Train at WM19

We should post the best besides the HBK matches.

Best: RKO
Worst: Giant Gonzales (Maybe because I just watched it)

All his matches were shit pre-ABA Taker/2001.

He was working the slow, zombie pace that Orton does now. Even the Jake Roberts match was a crushing bore. Its only the last few yrs that Taker actually showed glimpses of agility (that dive on Henry @ Mania 22).

Other than HBK at Mania 25

Best: Taker/Edge Mania 24

Worst Pick one: Giant Gonzales (Mania 9) Bundy (Mania 11), A-Train/Show (Mania 19) Henry (Mania 22)

I enjoyed the match with Kane at WM14 in 1998, but his matches starting 2001 on have been better no doubt can't disagree with you on that.

Worst: Taker/Henry WM 22
2. Taker/Gonzalez WM 9
3. Taker/Kane WM 20 (yea the hype was insane but the match was eh and we knew Taker was gonna win no question about it)

I don't think the Henry match was that bad for what it was.

However I would have love to have seen Austin vs Taker at a mania.
That would have been one hell of a match.

That's a good portion of them, but those are all honestly great matches. Stangely, he doesn't have many average ones.
They all seem to be either very good or flat out bad.

I thought the Orton match was average, personally.

The tombstone reversal into the RKO was above average in that match. Bob orton being involved...not so much.lol

The handicap match with Show/A-Train was the worst in my opinion. The fact that that match even happened is maybe the biggest casualty of the failed Nathan Jones experiment.

chokeslam reversal

The Big Bossman match is possibly the worst. I think the match type hurts it because of how incredibly underwhelming the opponent and actual match were, in relation to the standards and hype surrounding that match type at that point in time.

It's also an incredible failure because of how over and important The Undertaker's character was at that point in time.
Him and the storyline deserved a better opponent and match. In other years, Taker is fed a useless hoss because he needs to be on the card. But that year was the rise of the Ministry. They should have done better.

The best I think was WM24 Vs. Edge and the worst was probably WM19 vs Big Show and A Train...
