Yuck!

Close second is the Marching band that did Cena's theme..

Best probably have to be Mysterio's at WM22...it was perfect.

ooTin 03-01-2011 06:12 PM

what is there to discuss?

I thought P.O.D for Rey were pretty bad, Motorhead were great, especially at 17 because Lemmy clearly had no idea what half the lyrics were for Triple H's song and I really liked the marching band for Cena.

Wolfpack423 03-01-2011 06:23 PM

I acually liked the marching band entrance. It was different but everybody knew he was coming out when they started playing. Motorheads performance at WM21 was good. I also liked Shawn Michael's entrance at WM14.

morgest1984 03-01-2011 06:45 PM

When Drowning Pool did a version of Triple H's theme at WM X8, it was dreadful, i liked Motorhead both times

djoutcry 03-01-2011 07:06 PM

Yeah, didn't like it strictly because Lemmy didn't know the lyrics. badly produced. I HATED the marching band theme, at times it was off key as well, or they were missing something.

POD did well.

lol CSL u liked the fact that Lemmy didn't know the lyrics?

I don't know I felt that when HHH came out, he was thinking:

1. WTF?
2. This guy is butchering my entrance
3. ROFLMAO

Lara Emily 03-01-2011 07:09 PM

Pretty much all of them are awful. Except maybe DX band.

ron the dial 03-01-2011 07:26 PM

love motorhead's performance. why the fuck should lemmy know the lyrics to a wrestling theme song? he did exactly what he should have done. although i generally don't care for live performances of theme songs. doesn't ever sound as good.

Limp Bizkit @ Wrestlemania 19

WM 21 always bothered me because the fucking titantron froze.

Because it's their song :|?

It's not like they brought in Motorhead to cover someone else song.

Johnston wrote it and probably composed it, so it's actually kind of like that.

Yeah but they recorded it, they performed it, it's still their song. He should probably know the words :p

It also appeared on one of their actual studio albums to boot as a bonus track.

311 03-01-2011 08:36 PM

I thought Motorhead rocked pretty hard.

do you know anything about lemmy? i'm sure that he learned and recorded that song on the same day, and then forgot that it even existed. i'm sure it doesn't get busted out on tour very often.

Anybody Thrilla 03-01-2011 08:55 PM

How is it that no one has mentioned Salt N Peppa performing "Whatta Man" for Lawerence Taylor's entrance at Wrestlemania 11?

Wrestling fans often embrace shite.

When you think about how ridiculous wrestling is, is it really any surprise? Right now, our big returning legend is a dude who used to chew the scenery while spouting lines like "how's your lips?" and beating people up by doing a dance and dropping an elbow.

Ridiculous ain't always bad, but it's a stone's throw away.
