What would you do to repackage JoMo? He has the ability to go to the next level, but his gimmick has really run it's course. I don't see him winning the WWE or WHC in his current gimmick. I was just wondering what ideas others may have to repackage him...

Have him work on his mic skills. And repackage him as a bad-ass instead of a rocker. His in ring persona has changed over the last few weeks. He seems more aggressive, I mean he was kicking ass on a stone cold level. No he is not the next stone cold but given the right gimmick, ie a bad-ass who comes at you at all angles, he could be very very successful.

I adore his in ring capabilities but he is really getting stale as a face.

I say leave him be, but work on his mic skills.

All he needs is a simple heel turn. It's not rocket science.

Drop the slow mo entrance, cut his hair, lose the pants, gain some tights... thats pretty much what he needs. Maybe turn him heel after Wrestlemania with these changes and have him wrestle a very tight matt/submission style to piss off all his old fans.

Honestly, I think he is doing fine. Needs to work on his mic work... but they barely let him talk so not much opportunity to do it.

One thing I liked that they were doing was when they would just show him in the back warming up/doing parkour before a match. Gave him an extra little something.

I'd pop up a "Deal With It" lower 3rd super when he puts on the sunglasses too.

John Morrison should stick with one finisher, because the inconsistency could hurt him. The crowd needs to be ready for it - especially for a face. It just doesn’t do much for the endings to his matches if one week he’s able to get a three count with some kick to the head, but then another week he only gets a two count. Whatever happened to the Moonlight Drive?

Not much besides work on promo ability since he already has the crowd liking him, has good wrestling ability, and usually is great in most of the feuds he's involved.

The biggest problem isn't him but the writers or whoever is pushing him since its never consistent enough to benefit him. He beats Sheamus to be #1 contender and his feud with Miz over the title ended a week later. It is a bit similar to Kofi being pushed multiple times and then having it abruptly stop for no real reason each time.

But why is he wearing a surgical gown? :wtf:

John Morrison is doing fine. Since TLC, he's fucking boomed in worth to the WWE. At the last three WWE PPVs, he's arguably been performer of the night, and he's only one at one of them. That's the sort of breaking out that best creates stars. Morrison is just going to work, but doing it so fucking well for the company. That he's still young, in great shape, has a marketable look, has got personality (even if he sometimes sounds awkward on the mic), and is getting the fans behind him all support an eventual John Morrison push.

He's going to win Money in the Bank this year at WrestleMania. And then he's going to cash that and become a World Champion. He's fine, and he's going to get to that level without a heel turn, or without a haircut, or without changing his style.

Morrison's rock star gimmick would suit him just fine if they actually used it. He has unique attire to match his unique style, why get rid of it? Whats the point in putting the guy in trunks and giving him short, gelled hair and a nice suit to wear for promos when every other new guy hitting the main event is already doing that. Jack Swagger would have been more successful if they didn't cut the balls off his character and turn him into generic main event heel as soon as he got the belt. Morrison does not need to change, they just need to stop writing terrible promos for him and he is gold.

Yeah, they almost shied away from the gimmick when they turned Morrison face. There was no more "Hi, I'm John Morrison, and my abs deserve a place on Mount Rushmore." He's been turned into a generic babyface in everything but appearance. Changing his appearance just completes his transformation.
