How did he fuck over TNA by losing quickly? Wouldn't it be the other way around? It would seem that TNA fucked over Hardy and Sting by putting that shit on ppv. They both looked like big pieces of shit tonight.
I don't think it could have been any worse unless Jeff Hardy actually layed down after a Finger-Poke of Doom. At least you can call that an angle. This was just a squash where even Sting looked bad. |

He was clearly supposed to kick out...they filled with 10 minutes of highlights at the end...Taz kept say Sting has reinvented himself.....Sting was absolutely pissed after the match and Hebner looked stunned....I guarantee this is not the way it was booked.

Something weird happened at Victory Road.
******SPOILER ALERT******
Jeff Hardy came out very late into his into music,and seemed as if he could barely walk. He stayed outside of the ring forever off camera until J.B. began his introduction. Bischoff then came out to the ring. Eric went over to Hardy and feined shaking his hand,telling him something. Then he went over to Sting and said something to him. Bischoff then made it a no disqualification match.To which Sting immediately punched him in the face for. The match started and Hardy kept fake throwing his shirt to the crowd for a very long time. Sting looked upset and tried to go over to lock up and Hardy would not drop the shirt. Sting finally locked up with him,kicked him and Scorpion death dropped him for a pin that Hardy tried to kick out of. Hardy looked legit pissed off. Sting got out and they never panned back to Hardy,and ended with a montage of the whole night,for 8 minutes. WTF? |

Smart move by TNA though, probably going to get a small increase of viewers this thursday night. Sting vs Jeff Hardy.....its different, but i guess it could potentially generate some buzz. |

My thoughts on this matter are two-fold, and neither is good for TNA.
1) TNA knew Jeff Hardy was legit on drugs when he showed up for the PPV and decided to try and have him go on in the main event anyways. When he stumbled out and started acting a fool, Bischoff came out and tried to end the thing quickly so as not to further embarass Hardy and the company, and the whole thing came off as horrible. OR 2) This is another Bischoff/Russo/Hogan "shoot-work" angle where Hardy didn't want to do the job to Sting, and they're going to try and play it up somehow based on internet speculation, trying to stir interest in TNA Impact after tonight's fucked up sequence of events. Either way, FUCKING STUPID. If it's #1, they should've scrapped the Hardy/Sting match and had a different main event finish the night to send the people/viewers home happy. If it's #2, which is more likely, then the Bischoff/Russo regime is even more retarded than I ever could have possibly imagined and have not learned AT ALL from their mistakes in WCW. |
