How do you rate him as a commentator?

Personally I think he sucks. I hate his voice. He sounds like he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. And its annoying to hear him talk for such a long period of time. Reminds me of Savage as a commentator.

Agreed. His raspy, throaty, heavily accentuated voice is not meant for commentary, or for adding colour. Bring back Striker already.

He's...decent. I'd like him a lot more if Cole didn't make a habit of making him sound like an absolute idiot.

Its clear Booker is still working out the kinks as a commentator, and they don't need to have Cole consistently point out the inconsistencies in what Booker is saying.

He's bad, but he's getting better. Definitely a Savage clone.

I gave him a 4 because when I heard him it was fresh. He just talks differently. Kinda the same reason I didn't mind guys like Dusty Rhodes. They aren't eloquent or anything but their knowledge/experience and different dialogues add to an announce team, I think. I also have decent respect for Booker.

If he says the N word on the air he'll graduate to a 5.

I think hes doing great for someone whos only been doing it for the short time that he has...

He proved to be great when Chet Lemon and Black Snow took over the TNA announce team. THAT GUY MATT MORGAN I SEE HIM IN THE GYM BUT I TELL YOU WHAT, THATS A BIG GUY! HES GOT THE LOOK IN HIS EYE..SETTIN UP FOR THE BIG KICK...OOOOOHHHH BLACK SNOW, BLACK SNOW, BLACK SNOW!!!!!!!

He's pretty bad but I'll give him some more time. Better than Striker at least.

Well yeah but I meant if he does it again. Did he do it again? All I heard was "Come on now," was that actually, "Come on now nigga?" or something because if it is, it's edited out.

I wonder what the best scenario would be for him to drop that bomb again.

I still don't understand the hate for Striker. Is it because it's popular to hate on him or what? Because I think he was a great commentator.

What if I wanted to rate him a 0 but not get rid of him?

He seems average for a WWE annoucer so I gave him a 3/5.

He didn't make my head explode or anything but you know how announcers sell shit with their BS talk. Well, he went reeeeeeeeeeeeally overboard IMO. He got laughed at by other announcers for it, pretty sure.

Then I would ask you, "why do you want to keep a commentator you would rate a zero? "

3 out of 5 or average considering how he's still getting used to current stuff on the WWE and new wrestlers compared to the last time he was with the company years ago.

Watched the first half of Smackdown earlier. Noticed that Booker seemed way more relaxed and confident and got a lot more involved without Cole right by his side. Enjoyed him more than usual. Cole needs to get off Smackdown. It's undermining for the brand that they need a Raw commentator to come over and help them out.

Think he is ok and will get better with time gave him a 4.I don't think he is a Gorilla Monsoon yet ,but he has potential.

He's improving week after week. It takes wrestlers time to fit into a commentary team, it took Taz a little while to pick up the pace and start to call matches correctly and to know when to let others take the lead during matches. It just takes time to perfect the craft but Michael Cole doesn't help at all. Cole tries too hard to be a heel he's better off saying his piece when needed but he can be too disrespectful to the other commentators. I get it he's playing a character, it's his gimmick but sometimes he just seems to put his foot in it and cross the line which Booker T and Josh don't seem 100% comfortable with sometimes it seems to throw them off.

I like the fact that you have the heel and you have the 2 faces and they are constantly at eachother but it will grow old fast if it's the same routine from Cole week in week out. He really needs to be more consistent and know when to let Booker and Josh run with the ball sometimes.

When this happens then I think Booker will come into his own, he's starting to improve and I think as long as he sticks with it he will step things up another gear or 2.

I like the fact that he's honest, blunt and to the point. Sometimes these days barely anyone actually calls the match but that's what Booker trys to do he tells it like it is.
