LAX is back! (and now they whistle)
 

I thought Impact was a decient show this week, not as good as two weeks ago but not bad. The fact that they had half a match the first hour and crammed the other 4 into the second wasnt a good idea but it looks like Hernandez is doing a "LAX" type gimmick again. He cut a promo about Mexican Americans taking over, the "fan" interfered again. I thought that was kinda funny that he did the whistle in his promo thats in his theme. What did you think of Hernandez possibily leading a stable? (maybe they can call up Apollo and Machete the two "other" members of LAX) Also, do you have any opinion on Gunner winning the TV title or Bully Ray possibily becoming a part of the main event picture?

Thought it was Homicide returning at first (didn't see this "fan" interfere the first time). I guess I'm okay with Hernandez being given some guys to lead, but I couldn't help but notice the crowd barely reacted to his promo.

Hernandez is boring, hes cut the exact same promo for 6 yrs now.

I have no idea who Gunner is or the state of the TV title picture, so I can't really comment on that.

Bully Ray being in the main event, though? I can't buy it. Maybe it's because he's been in a tag team pretty much the whole time I've watched, but I can't see him as a singles guy.

Ray decking Hebner was hilarious, though.

i kind of like bully ray best he has been in 6 years let him be a midcard heel for awhile before he rejoins devon.

It was good to see the return of heel L.A.X., though it didn't include Homicide or Konan. I can do without Konan as I was never a fan of his, but I feel Hernandez needs his 187 running mate rather than some random "fan". I expect they'll add El Zorro to the stable when he arrives.

To be honest, when they advertised the TV title match I figured it'd end with a squash by Rob Terry. So to see Gunner take the win in the explosive manner that he did was a pleasant surprise.

On the subject of Bully Ray, I also don't see him as a main event competitor. But in all fairness he performed quite well out there, and I thought that powerbomb on AJ was sick. So time will tell where he goes from there.

All in all it was a decent Impact, though I did get a little bored with the back to back segments that went on during the first half.

I was waiting for Ray to just sit there with that entranced look on his face like he used to do after those table spots. I think it would have worked considering he walked away and AJ didn't.

-Bully Ray as a main eventer? I don't buy it...YET...who knows?
-Gunner as TV Champ I will NEVER buy...

Oh and I actually think LAX isn't a fitting name for this new, not as awesome, stable. Instead ladies and gentlemen, I give to you, the Mexus!
