Better theme Sheamus or Drew?
Both men have had plenty of talent, young and have had success in their own way. Their themes are two of my favorites around today but which theme do you like more Shamoose or McIntyre?

Thought you meant Drew Carey.

Too Many Limes! Too Many Limes!
IMO, if i had to choose, i'd pick Written In My Face (that's Sheamus' theme). Love the intro, the chorus, and the hammer like sound effects towards the end of the track. |
Drew has one of the best themes going right now, especially if they play the intro part of the song.
That said, I pretty much can't stand Drew McIntyre. Sheamus has a pretty good theme as well. Wish they'd include the intro bit of his song though. |
Seriously though, for me, Sheamus' wins because Drew doesn't use the longer entrance now. Drew's with the intro and his slow entrance would win out if he still used it regularly.
|
I thought the Battle of the Themes series was back
|
It's a shameful thing lobster head...
|
Drew, I really can't stand Sheamus's music.
|
I think Drew's theme is a better song, but Sheamus has the better wrestling theme.
|
Actually Drew has a top 5 theme IMO, Undertaker (Johnny Cash or basic Undertaker), Orton, Mark Henry, Triple H, and I'd say Drew at the moment. I am ready for Edge to get a new song asap.
|
Well okay so I just listened the Sheamus song, I've never listened to it other than on TV and it's better than I though I guess. It's pretty cool, I might have liked this song when I was like 14.
|
definitely Drew's
|
I really hated when they started adding lyrics to wrestling themes. Why? Because it gives another dimension of shittiness. More potential to be gay. It also makes shit a little too specific.
Themes without lyrics allow you to formulate your own interpreted message/theme/mood, what have you. Lyrics force you upon another idea that more often than not, is really unfitting. Should the lyrics be fitting however, they would be even gayer. Really anal/outdated about this. That being said, I did like McIntyre's entrance. |

I think I was MOST annoyed with this when Kane started using a song with lyrics. His character had been so "mysterious" up to that point, and it didn't seem like anybody could really tap into what was going on in his head...besides apparently the people that composed the song for him. It just made him feel so...human, I suppose. I'm glad they've scrapped lyrics for him now. |
Yeah you're right, I need to backpedal a bit on that one. To a degree. I'll even piss on my own shrine and say "The Rock says, The Rock says, The Rock says, The Rock says, The Rock says," in retrospect is gay to me now but seemed to work.
Disturbed doing Austin's theme is a huge exception. That song was sick. I guess what I call into question is the quality of the music/lyrics and the song overall. If you just have a regular old theme it just seems like there's less potential for it to totally suck. |
One of the top themes in WWE right now IMO.
Here's the version he comes out to. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mMo6WhrUdyQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I'M BREAKING THE LIMIT INSIDE YOU
Yeaaaaah, that was the shit. |

Sheamus by a mile, in my opinion.
But that could be because I really don't have any interest in Drew, and would vote Sheamus by a mile in all categories. But even just judging the themes on their own merit, I like Sheamus' and dislike Drew's. To me it doesn't feel like a wrestling theme at all. Just a bad ripoff of Turn The Page. |
wow this is tough. Love both. Sheamus by a hair.
|
Drew is money...he just needs a big run with someone over to pull him along. It's not quite together yet obviously.
|
Drew by a mile.....
|
Definitely McIntyre. Although it's far better with the intro.
|
I've started like Sheamus's theme lately though would suit him more as a face i think. Always liked Drew's.

i like drew's better, but the long intro made it more distinctive. for some reason, i don't think chugging guitars matches him at all. it sounds cool, it just doesn't match. |
Drews with the slow intro. Easily.
|
Drew McIntyre.
It fit his character pretty well when he chasing after championship titles and other stuff before going on his mini-loosing streak or being more concerned with Kelly Kelly. |
Dashing Cody Rhodes.
|
Drew McIntyre
