Sir Oliver Humperdink has passed

it's been reported that legendary manager Sir Oliver Humperdink has passed away overnight by several people in the biz who know him

of course Sir Oliver had cancer and had just recently entered hospice care

it was incorrectly posted here a few weeks ago and now it's true

Rest in Peace.

Crazy that he never married nor had any kids.

YoungFlyFlashy 03-20-2011 11:15 AM

Wow, it says he was in the WWF in 1987 and even was at Wrestlemania, I do not remember him at all, going to have to go back to see this.

I said it before and I'll say it again. RIP. He was a Great Man and an even Better Legend.

DLVH84 03-20-2011 07:43 PM

I remembered him managing Bam Bam Bigelow, The Samoan Swat Team, and The Fabulous Freebirds.

RIP Big Daddy Dink

I don't know...just think its slightly overdone when its made a big deal that somebody who was barely known(or in my case not known at all) passes. People die all the time and they don't get that kind of recognition. I'm just saying.
