TUF is on now and not @ 10 like usual

Savio 03-30-2011 09:21 PM

Dunno why Brock would pick the injured one.

MoFo 03-30-2011 10:01 PM

WAR MICHAEL BOWMAN

(the only english one)

Stickman 03-31-2011 01:32 AM

I tuned in late, but was it only 50 minutes?

Next Big Thing 03-31-2011 09:02 AM

FUCK. I missed it.

MoFo 03-31-2011 09:50 AM

well you didnt miss much, probably the most boring episode ever.

That fucking German guy should of tagged Brock in, he was fucking pants

JDS's first pick wasnt much cop either though, wrestlefucking him to a boring death. Sick of these lay & pray cunts.

Crimson 03-31-2011 01:45 PM

Ferguson from my hometown here in ventura..wow . Let's see how far he goes.

Kris P Lettus 04-07-2011 08:31 AM

Seems like every season there is some pussy that quits.. Unbelievable..

Next Big Thing 04-07-2011 10:22 AM

That dude pissed me off so fucking much. All he had to do was man up for six weeks and he could have changed his life and his daughters life forever.

Even if he didn't win he could have used the experience and exposure to make more on the amateur scene or at least turn it into a training job at a gym.

The Mask 04-30-2011 06:15 AM

another shite obligatory wolfslair fighter

MoFo 05-03-2011 10:25 AM

This season so far has to be one of the worst. The last one that aired here is the fight with Ramsey, so far it seems all the fighters are equally bad and the only way to end a fight is if the guy shits out and taps.

Id hate to be on Brock's team, he's so monotone and doesn't bring out any passion Id struggle to motivated to train, but then when his team loses he lets rip and I can see why his team get pissed off because he's not showing any of that passion leading up to the fight.

At the same time though Id hate to be on JDS's team, I could get past the language barrier but if Ima welterweight he's going to be teaching me fuck all about wrestling, Im not sure what hes teaching them, it seems to be his coaches that are doing his teaching, problem is one of his coaches is a complete cunt and Id hate to work with him.

I struggle to see how any of these will get a career in the UFC, whoever wins it will stay for a while but the rest I dont see lasting more than 2 fights.

On top of that theres zero chemistry between the coaches, they don't talk, dont trashtalk, theres nothing pulling me in to watch the show because the in-house action is awful and the fights are awful.

Next Big Thing 05-03-2011 12:17 PM

It's a bad combo because Brock isn't really the super asshole people want him to be unless he's provoked and JDS is too nice of a guy.

If it was Lesnar vs. Mir coaching I guarantee you Brock would be more into it and the sparks would be flying. The only unfortunate thing about that though would be the fact that we'd have to watch Lesnar v. Mir 3 at the end of it.

CSL 05-03-2011 12:31 PM

You don't enjoy seeing Frank Mir get beat up?

Damn. You got me there. Maybe they'll feed Mir to Brock if he loses to JDS just to cheer him up and let him leave on a high note instead of on two losses.

The Naitch 05-06-2011 09:24 PM

lol Lenny getting DENIED. He's all guaranteeing that he's the wild card pick and that he's the prettiest guy out there, then BAM! DENIED! Can't wait for next episode

Also Dos Santos is a bitch for sending the assistant coach home. Just seems like a whiney penis move to me. The asst. coach had a good enough excuse IMO

Also did anyone notice when Brock was in the corner saying "Take him down..." and then Dos Santos is in the other corner yelling "No..YOU take him down!"

It's like whoa calm down, guy, Brock was just giving instructions to his fighter. No need to spazz out bro. Dos Santos sounded like a huge whiney penis.

Yeah, I don't see why they didn't do Mir vs. Lesnar for TUF. I mean, they already have 1 win each. They need to have the rubber match. I'm guessing Mir is too scared to face Brock again. The circumstances couldn't be any more perfect.

It would've been the most explosive season ever in TUF history if they did it. Dos Santos vs. Lesnar just seems meh. Was kinda let down when they announced it.

IC Champion 05-07-2011 11:51 AM

Nobody wants Mir/Lesnar III, maybe Lesnar, thats about it.

Reavant 05-07-2011 03:28 PM

Lesnar would not have done the show if it was against mir... the whole reason he agreed to do it was to fight dos santos for the #1 contendership.

IC Champion 05-07-2011 03:53 PM

There you go, not even Lesnar wanted the fight again.

Reavant 05-07-2011 05:08 PM

I wouldn't say that.... I saw an interview where he said he wasn't going to do the show period. He needed to be convinced hard by dana. I'm assuming a third fight with mir that would do nothing for him wouldn't be what gets lesnar on board. A number one contender fight however is a different story.

Kris P Lettus 05-08-2011 05:01 PM

And with his last two fights, Lesnar def needs to prove his chin.. Dos Santos is an evenmore viscious striker than Carwin or Cain.. Sure Mir TKO'd Nog and Congo but he is not the threat on the feet that Dos Santos is.. Lesnar needs a legit win over someone with KO power to bring him back to promenance IMHO.. Mir is not that guy..

Krimzon7 05-08-2011 05:59 PM

I pray to God that Len gets in Brocks face and brock just shits a turd big enough to Kick his ass...it will be epic.

I'd say he's a better striker, but as far as hitting harder than either Carwin or Cain, I dunno about that.

Kris P Lettus 05-08-2011 10:39 PM

I def not say he hits harder than Carwin, but Dos Santos is a pure striker where as Cain and Carwin are wrestlers who can strike..

Dunno..

Reavant 05-09-2011 08:41 AM

hes a technical striker... the other two are power strikers

The Mask 05-09-2011 02:45 PM

i think cain puts combos together well.

Reavant 05-09-2011 04:53 PM

yes he does but he throws everything into all his punches compaired to dos santos strings a lot of puches together and can change levels with them.

IC Champion 05-09-2011 06:10 PM

Cain has improved alot on the feet over the last 2 years aswell, compared to his fight with Kongo when he more or less was a punching bag while the fight stayed standing.

The Mask 05-26-2011 07:32 PM

two torn retinas and retired :'( poor bastard

Next Big Thing 06-01-2011 11:02 AM

I hope Tony Ferguson got his brains beat out of his ears in this week's fights.

They definitely need to do something with the formatting of the show. The fights have been awesome, it's the other 50 minutes of the show that are tough to watch.

Mayhem/Bisping could be good, but only if Bisping commits himself to being an ass and Mayhem gets to play the anti-bully good guy role.

The Mask 06-01-2011 06:48 PM

yeah the show seems convulated pretty much. like last season (i think) roy nelson was nailed on to win. plus there is always some random dickhead for drama.

plus last week when your man was all "WHERES YOUR SON?!" and the other guy is all taking his shirt off and all HOLD ME BACK MOTHERFUCKERS i felt gay as fuck for watching it.

Shaggy 06-04-2011 07:37 PM

Im rewatching the show while they are doing the marathon and its on the episode where Zach had the surgery done because of the torn retinas...

Question:
If they are injured on this show and have to go to the hospital/emergency room and have something done do they pay for it or does the show?

The Naitch 06-04-2011 08:48 PM

lol @ Tony Ferguson: the Paul Daley of TUF

The UFC covers the medical expenses for fighters injured during fights. In fact, right after the show finished filming they expanded it to insure all fighters under contract in the ring and out.

Tony Ferguson is a bitch. If he was half the man Paul Daley was he would have swung for the back of dude's head as he was walking away.

Next Big Thing 06-04-2011 08:57 PM

They really do need to switch it up. 14 dudes isolated in a house for six weeks doing nothing but training and drinking is lame as hell. At least let them go out and bring girls back to the house or something.

what

Corndad 06-04-2011 09:57 PM

I was disappointed in Chuck's performance in that fight against Cope. I had high hopes for that guy. He showed very little heart, what we all know he has after watching the fights he had while on show.

Stickman 06-05-2011 01:50 AM

I missed pretty much all of this season. How did Lesner and JDS get along and could they coach?

Next Big Thing 06-05-2011 02:45 AM

I think Cope is more talented than people give him credit for. His wooing probably makes it hard for people to take him seriously.

Sucks for Pettis.

There was no heat at all between the two. They were nice and polite to eachother the entire time, which kinda made this season a little boring

Seeing as how this is Brock Lesnar, a former pro wrestling superstar, I was expecting some of that to play in, for the cameras atleast. You'd think they'd take advantage of that.

I would've loved to see Team Mir vs. Team Lesnar instead.
