worst WM performers

WM lists and countdowns seem to be a tending topic as of now so it got me thinking...

minimum 2 WM matches who would you say shit the bed the most and entertained you the least?

off the top of my head im going with lex luger, discuss

MVP 03-25-2011 03:57 PM

Why didn't you just say "Worst Wrestlemania Matches"?

Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez stands out in my mind.

Aguakate 03-25-2011 03:58 PM

That's what I understood, that it was "Worst WM Matches"...but then he mentioned "Lex Luger"...

...so I don't know.

Rammsteinmad 03-25-2011 03:58 PM

Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.

The match itself wasn't awful terrible, but more a case of nowhere near living up to the hype.

MoFo 03-25-2011 04:10 PM

Shelton Benjamin

Waylander 03-25-2011 04:22 PM

Boogeyman.

Did I do it right?

NormanSmiley 03-25-2011 04:40 PM

not a match, any performer with at least 2 WM appearances who stunk up the joint.

example goldberg is DNQ with one appearance, same for a Giant Gonzalez, but say you thought dino bravo for example had awful performances he was in multiple WM's

DrCrawford 03-25-2011 04:43 PM

Meng

Rammsteinmad 03-25-2011 04:46 PM

Oh, in that case I'll go with...

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar.

NormanSmiley 03-25-2011 04:58 PM

The amount of matches is not the question, and honestly he only had one good showing in his MITB matches.

Rollermacka 03-25-2011 05:37 PM

If where gonna go with a match then I'm gonna go with the Jake Vs Model Blindfold match.

If where gonna go with a proformer then Captian Poopypants himself.

Aguakate 03-25-2011 05:38 PM

I'll go with Kane. I'm just not a fan.

NormanSmiley 03-25-2011 05:41 PM

i think greg valentine would also be up there. never thought he did anything fantastic in his WM performances

Gertner 03-25-2011 05:59 PM

Daniel Bryan.

Aguakate 03-25-2011 06:01 PM

Has Daniel Bryan performed at WrestleMania?

Gertner 03-25-2011 06:06 PM

I'm getting a head start.

Up until pretty recently, I'd like to throw the Undertaker's name into....well, his own hat, I guess.

Blatantly lied?

Answer; Scotty Too Hotty. He was over but all he did was dance and worm.

So the question is who, with a minimum of two WrestleMania matches, entertained me the least?

Alicia Fox

Jordan 03-25-2011 09:36 PM

Brock Lesnar....

He fucked up the shooting star and ruined that match by botching the spot and making us all think he was paralyzed, as well as exposing the business by having to still win the match after something that the ref could have pinned him for three after.

Then Goldberg... For such hype Lesnar really wasn't all that great. Sure the feud with Angle was great, and the match was amazing but that spot ruined it for me, it was like a singer forgetting the last lines or going horribly off pitch on the last note. The feud with Big Show was great etc... I'm not saying he sucked or anything but he flopped two Wrestlemania's and did bad business, we'll see him back eventually.

Jordan 03-25-2011 09:37 PM

Sure there are worse but one was a main event and the other was Brock vs Goldberg, hell Sid had a five star match with Goldberg!

We should have a no divas rule.

Anybody Thrilla 03-25-2011 09:39 PM

Are you kidding me with that Brock Lesnar bullshit? That match was still amazing, and I think it added to it, really.

I knew Lesnar was gonna pull that out, it was rumored and the video of him nailing it in OVW was circulating, a lot of people knew he could do it. I'm sure you saw the video at the time. So when he started up the ropes I knew it was coming, and you could see the nerves and uncertainty in his poorly timed leap... and like I said man it ruined that match for me. It was a disappointment and I wish he never even tried, if it would have just ended with a triple powerbomb or a few F-5's I would put it in a top 10 easy. It really kinda ruined that whole PPV for me, sorry man just did.

THIS, 300 pound guy breaking out a SSP press for the big stage is the kind of thing wrestlemanis is built around, moments that are balls out for better or worse

NormanSmiley 03-25-2011 10:24 PM

what wrestlemania did i miss where goldberg had a 2nd match??

That was the one that instantly popped into my head first. Seriously, that match was horrendus and I can't believe it even counts as a victory for The Undertaker and his Streak.

Jordan 03-26-2011 01:45 AM

Shoulda been Andre...

Droford 03-26-2011 01:59 AM

Mark Henry has been in the WWE since what..1996ish? He's only had 2 matches at Wrestlemania (vs Taker in a Casket Match at 22 and in the MITB match at 25) plus I think he was in the WWE.com pre show battle royal at WM24 where he was the last eliminated. The Casket match was awful and I dont remember him doing a single thing in the MITB match.

Mark Henry - Mr Not Wrestlemania

#1-norm-fan 03-26-2011 02:01 AM

I wouldn't say he's the worst performer though.

The casket match was awful and he did squat in MITB. Two high profile matches that he sucked in.

I didn't read any spoilers or anything and didn't know about it. I saw the videos AFTER the match. It was awesome to me. Stop spoiling shit for yourselves, it's so much worse.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-26-2011 02:38 AM

He didn't spoil it for himself Brock did by putting Angle like 75 percent across the ring.
