Awesome was an anamoly. How a guy that big could be that athletic was ridiculous. He was billed as 6'6, 290 lbs. To move the way he did was Brock Lesnar-esque, and I think both WCW and WWE missed the boat on this guy. Kinda odd when you think about it. He had the look Vince craves, and the athleticism and ability to put on good matches.

Back to question at hand, Miz is awesome for his mic work, his ability to connect with the crowd and draw heat, and his progression from reality star to company champion, headlining Mania. That's a helluva feat nobody saw coming.

Awesome was awesome for being a monster who could move and put on good matches, and was a prototype for the type of wrestler you'd want at the top of the company, physically.

Awesome didn't get the chance the Miz did in the mainstream, so I'll call it a draw.

Awsome should have gone down as one of if not the best big man in the biz but he took a payday and ruined his reputation. Awsome did some of the most Awsome thing ever seen in a wrestling match, and his matches with Masato tanaka were classics.

The Miz went from a mtv garbage tv star to the most entertaining wwe champ since jerichos first reign. But the Miz still has his whole career ahead of him.

I didn't care about Mike Awesome. He was nothing special IMO, mostly because I don't remember much about him.

These are 2 different guys in 2 different federations. I have seen a few of Mike Awesome matches and no offense to the Miz (Believe me ever since he came up I have been like the biggest Miz fan on the planet. )

But, Mike Awesome pulled off some of the most amazing shit I have ever seen. Miz is good when it comes to working a crowd over, and getting heel heat and cutting a promo but from what I have seen they are Awesome in different ways.
