I assume he means the first episode with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor.

If you are referring to the episode entitled Rose than you haven't seen anything yet there's many other great episodes to follow.

That's exactly how I felt three months ago when I stumbled on the show. I always dismissed it as more corny SyFy bullshit, but the show is good.

My boyfriend & I watched that. It was... ok. The Doctor was just plain creepy in the pilot.

Yes, he was a sinister old bloke in the early days. :'(

I've never actually watched the original pilot, come to think of it. I've got it on DVD, have to look it out some time.

I'll warn you, some the of the first revived series isn't that great compared to what comes later. Was definitely a case of them finding their feet early on.

And aload of shit ones. :(

The Doctor's personality was totally different between the pilot and the reshot version of An Unearthly Child. In the pilot, he and Susan were just plain odd.

Not a pilot episode.

I certainly enjoy the show more since Russel "T" Davies left. He became far too predictable.

OMFG, The last 6 episodes of Season 3 are goddamn brilliant. Like I can't believe how this show had passed me by for so long.

This show is hands down the most consistently awesome show I have ever watched.

Favorite line from the show, thats from Blink I believe which was just a goddamn incredible episode.

The Weeping Angels were brilliant.

A shame they weren't as cool when they were brought back.

While they were certainly supposed to be a bigger threat, they didn't have the same mistyque or nightmare fuel factor.

The episode in the forst was rather good, but nowheres near how awesome Blink was. And I have to say, the Ood are just plain awesome.
