The Rock's plastic surgeries.

So first his jaw started looking different, then his cheeks, then he certainly had a nose job. He is looking less and less Samoan.

When did all of this happen?

Funky Fly 04-03-2011 03:18 PM

Dunno about his nose, but the jaw and cheeks are probably from less mass over the years. Less moon face from not having to juice all the time.

If anything, Rock has gotten BIGGER since we last saw him in the ring. He probably got plastic surgery or minimal lypo or does some weird exercises that "tone" his face since that's like a "thing" in Hollywood.

Is it just me or has his skin gotten lighter?

KayfabeMan 04-04-2011 04:10 AM

He admittedly had a 'boob job', gynecomastia surgery, to reduce his breasts.

That was YEARS ago though, as he had excess fat and whatnot from prior weight and then the steroid after effects too, so he had surgery to correct his chest and give it a tight, tone look. But that was back when he was wrestling, before he got into movies.

I don't know about his actual facial structure. But he definitely seems lighter these days. Maybe he had a bit of the Michael Jackson pigment procedure lol.

Could just be the introduction of the HD cameras & super-duper new lighting they use.

Didn't know he admittedly juiced.

It's a possibility, but Mark Henry doesn't look lighter to me. R-Truth seemed to become even blacker over the years.

Rock used to be abit chunkier and carried more bodyfat and it showed on his face. Look at him in The Nation days compared to 2002. He's slimmed down, and his training and diet has probably changed over the years.

I'm pretty sure he hasn't had any plastic surgery to his face. I'm 30 lbs lighter than I was before 8 years ago. Back then I was bodybuilding in my "mass building phase". Eating anything and everything, every 3 hours, lifting heavy weights with high poundages and few reps. No cardio. When I was 30 pounds heavier, my face was chubbier aka "babyfat" and my nose felt bigger.

Today, I can see my cheekbones and my nose feels slimmer, because I guess there's less bodyfat covering my face. Plus water retention plays a factor as well. And I also do cardio for an hour a day. Plus body resistance exercises. Don't care for the amount of weight, just high reps and little rest between sets.

I notice my face feels leaner even over the smallest things, like say I go for a run at night and I only eat protein (tuna or protein shake) before going to bed. No carbs. The next morning my face feels leaner. Now if I had some mad pasta or bread before going to bed, the next morning, my face and nose would feel chubby and bloated.

Water plays a huge difference as well. I remember eating a shitload of food one day. Boatloads of pasta and bread. The next morning, I remember not eating at all. All I drank was water. I wanted to flush out all the crap I ate the night before. Like a fast or detox type shit...YA FEEL ME? I kept going to take a piss. But I could feel my face get leaner after a few hours.

The only plastic surgery The Rock had that I know of was to fix his gynecomastia aka bitch tits back in 1999. That's why you could see him wearing that black sweattop during his matches with Mankind.

Lol Mark Henry and R Truth have a bit of a different skin tone then The Rock.

Maybe he's not doing the "wrestler tan" as hardcore as he used to and we're seeing his actual skin colour.

The Rock never had any work done on his face, he just shaved the sideburns. :shifty:

I like how you capitalized that, but what does that have to do with anything?

I was talking about his face and never said he looks smaller and whatnot.
