Scott Hall Hospitalized

Quote:

Former WWE talent Scott Hall has been hospitalized following a drug overdose, reports WrestlingNewsWorld.com. No further details are available at this time.

The former Intercontinental Champion has been battling serious health issues over the past year. He was hospitalized last June for double pneumonia, which had affected both lungs. He was hospitalized again in August due to complications from pneumonia. After recovering, Hall checked into a WWE-sponsored rehabilitation facility, and checked out in early October. Hall was hospitalized weeks later as he needed a pacemaker implanted into his heart.

Hall announced last week he would not be on hand for the WrestleMania XXVII festivities in Atlanta, Georgia because the atmosphere would be detrimental to his quest to stay sober.

He posted his last Twitter message Sunday night while watching WrestleMania XXVII, writing "Taker wins!"
So much for his quest to stay sober apparently. Part of me feels sorry for him and part of me thinks, "Come on man! How many chances do you need? Get your fucking shit together!"

I want details first before we go another round of "Scott Hall and the Bashing Stick."

JimmyMess 04-07-2011 05:44 PM

I'll take a page from Craig Ferguson who said that staying sober is a lifelong struggle.

It's a DAILY struggle.

Fox 04-07-2011 06:18 PM

Hey yo.

Rammsteinmad 04-07-2011 06:27 PM

This was probably brought on by the fact that he missed the Wrestlemania celebrations.

Fox 04-07-2011 06:40 PM

One more for the good guys.

BollywoodSingh 04-07-2011 06:44 PM

Too many will bash Scott Hall for this as if it's just simple decision to remain sober. If it was so easy, drug and alcohol abuse wouldn't be such a big problem in the world.

Nicky Fives 04-07-2011 06:46 PM

fuck..... I love Hall....perhaps he should have chose to attend the HOF ceremony afterwards..... The Kliq could have kept an eye on him......

Bollywood makes a great point.

Londoner 04-07-2011 07:04 PM

Always sad to hear shit like this.

Jordan 04-07-2011 07:18 PM

This sadly isn't a shock to me, I hope he gets better.... he seems so lost

Damian Rey 04-07-2011 07:21 PM

I will always root for him. I think at some point, somebody close to him will have to realize he just doesn't have it in him to pull it together. That's not a bad thing, and not a knock on Hall. Some people just need more help than others. Somebody in Hall's life needs to step in, and get this thing going in a legal direciton.

Isn't there a way to have Hall delegated to some sort of parental figure, ala Britney Spears some years ago? I don't know the legal terms of it, but it would basically be a guardian who help makes decision and guides you, rather than letting you do it for yourself, when you have proven you are not capable of such.

I do wish him the best. I was a huge Razor mark.

It's called a conservatorship. I actually think this would be a great idea for him if he truly wants to get clean and just can't seem to do it on his own. The only problem is they're usually difficult to obtain and often are for short periods of time.

I'm sure he wants to get clean. I mean, why else would he keep trying. I think he's at the point in his life where someone else needs to step in for him. I don't think Hall would make the decision for himself. It has to made for him. I know he has kids, and the real loss will be them losing their father if nobody does something about Hall's demons.

Savio 04-07-2011 07:41 PM

I wish he was there so they could have took a true Kliq picture.

Nicky Fives 04-07-2011 08:24 PM

From Scott Hall's official Facebook page

"Blood pressure dropped last night. Got it checked out. Doing fine. Went home last night after only spending a couple of hours in the hospital. Love the Internet!"

We've lost a lot of our favorite past time heroes. I'd hate to see him be next.

Rock Bottom 04-08-2011 08:28 AM

I have to say that back when I was a kid, and had no inclination whatsoever that wrestling was scripted, Razor Ramon always captivated me as a complete 100% bad guy. I dreaded his appearances, I cheered when he lost, he seemed like such a bully. He was in short company of the heels I bought into as being a tough guy that would push everyone else around.

Today, I give a shit less, and it makes me feel regret when I see something like this. About 20 years ago, he was the bad guy, and I was a kid, watching, marking out when "The Kid" beat him with a moonsault. Now, the world isn't so black and white for me, and apparently it's a big haze for Scott Hall. That is rather sad.

And wrestlers (especially habitual drug users) would never lie, so it must be true.

The Naitch 04-09-2011 12:09 AM

I wonder if Shawn is trying anything to help? Shawn got over his addictions and if anything he's the one person that has what it takes to help Scott Hall

I wonder how the fuck you know Shawn is 100% clean? Is that a quote from a WWE published book?

Well I for one feel real bad for the "victims" of this "disease".

Seriously, drug addicts and alcoholics should go talk to a kid with cancer before they talk about being victims of a disease. Hall has nobody to blame but himself.

He's a Christian. Christians don't lie. Like Eddie Gu....Oh, crap.

That video no joke is one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my life seriously. I wanted to make fun of him, but I just feel bad for him. WOW.

The people around him need to help him and stop "helping" him get whatever he wants.

HBPunk 04-09-2011 02:28 PM

The last call for Scott Hall

Surely he's on his way out. Fuckin tragic videos from lastnight that Ryan Clark took no time in posting here. Where does he go now? He probably should have attended the HoF. Maybe CM Punk will call him out on Raw :|

Gertner 04-09-2011 02:33 PM

Nobody cares fag.

Mr. JL 04-09-2011 03:10 PM

Justin Credible looks like he has some problems too, just not as many as Halls has... yet.

Xero 04-09-2011 03:25 PM

Why did the promotion even let him go out there?

...Other than the fact it's probably run by scumbags...

Nightwing 04-09-2011 03:34 PM

Thats fucking sad. I cant believe they let him go out in that type of condition, let alone get involved in the action.

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-09-2011 03:34 PM

Same reason Charlie Sheen's stand up tour is like sold out: people like watching trainwrecks.

Who said Credible was looking in bad shape? He seemed to look fine and wearing a DX shirt. The members of the Kliq not at WrestleMania together.
