Not really, the only difference is even back in the 1980s, they had great wrestling and had no shame in calling it wrestling. And they had a legitimate Junior Heavyweight, Womens, and Tag Team divisions.

Tag yes, fuck off with the other two. The Womens stuff now is better than it was back then/10 times more 'legitimate' and there has never been anything close to resembling a 'legitimate Junior heavyweight division' in WWF/E, merely a belt named that.
