So with the first new Tough Enough in years, I got to wondering...
 

What the hell ever happened to Matt Cappotelli, the guy who won Tough Enough III?

Without referring to Wiki (which you could easily do), I tend to remember him getting a brain tumor which hindered his development to say the least. I hope he's OK.

He had to retire because of a brain tumor, but I haven't heard anything about him in years.

Last I heard the tumor was successfully removed.

Yeah heard his surgery was successful, and also he was going to try and work his way back.

I am more concerned about Daniel "I beat Mike Mizanin" Puder.

Maven should make a cameo.

Puder actually did pretty well for himself after screwing the pooch in WWE.

I was "concerned" with Cappotelli since he's really obscure, and part of that is/was "he came and went" just like that from WWE. Didn't know it was anything as serious as what people had said, but it's nice to see he's recovered and still trying 2 make a run at it.

yeah what the hell hapened to maven i see him on the sureal life then he dissapears off the face of the earth. then there was the 1st girl winner she did not last long ether.

He got traded from RAW to SmackDown! in 2005, and they must not have had any work for him or something because he was released on July 5 of that year.

At least he got to participate in Wrestlemania 18 and even won the Hardcore title.

Nidia played a decent manager for Jamie Noble (BOY!).

Noble and Nidia were great on Smackdown.

He got a self-appointed title shot vs. Triple H in 2004 on RAW, too. Sure would be nice if he could ever return though. Guy had an amazing dropkick.

Hard to believe that Josh Matthews is probably the longest running Tough Enough contestant. Even if he is a commentator.

Yeah, I'd kinda rather not remember his time with Simon Dean. Seemed so degrading and humiliating for a guy with his raw (no pun intended) talent.

I remember Maven using the backcracker/stabber near the end of his run, and it looking better than anytime Carlito did it.
