Heat Between Zbyszko and Jericho
 

OK, so what do you guys think of the heat between Larry Zbyszko and Chris Jericho?

For those who don't know what I mean, the problems go back to 2001 when Jericho began calling himself the Larger than Life Living Legend, and Zbyszko (who, for years, had been calling himself The Living Legend) actually sued Jericho for trademark infringement and won the lawsuit. Jericho, who said he did not know that title was trademarked, stopped using it, then cracked a few jokes about in his book, "Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps".

Those people in the first video shooting Larry are such douchebags.

Chris Jericho is on one of the biggest tv shows in the world, and Larry Zybszko is on fucking YouTube with Scott Hall. I'd say Jericho isn't "some guy".

And let's be honest here, nobody in 'the world' really knows who Larry Zbysko is, and as a wrestler he isn't really a 'legend' as his name implies, except to maybe DVLH84 and Seth82. I only remember him as an announcer in WCW.

Also, I'm glad they talk about him being a WWE suckass but show a match from fucking 1998.

IMO larry is hardly a legend I mean the only time I actually saw the dude wrestle was via my Loose Cannon DVD and my grandad dad knows about him and hes like 74 so...

Larry's big claim to fame is being AWA Champion and selling out Shea Stadium in 1980 vs Bruno Sammartino (which had more to do with Bruno). I love how he talks shit about Triple H marrying Stephanie considering Zbyszko married Kathy Gagne in 1988 (he won the AWA World title in Feb. 1989).

To be fair, Hunter won his first world title before marrying Stephanie.

Larry is just one of those guys who got a good spot in AWA, he got the spot because he wasn't a threat to the Gange's and they knew NWA or WWWF would care less about taking him.

Trust me, I know. He won 6 world titles before marrying Stephanie.

I think jericho would rather kick larrys ass in a place where people will actually see it not the shared backyard of some trailer park with larryland painted on the grass.

One thing I've noticed in a lot of these shoots is that usually when some guy has beef with another guy, one of the first things they go to is "he can't draw/didn't draw/doesn't draw"- no matter how true or untrue that statement is.



It seems to me like that's the wrestling world equivalent of "you got a small dick" or "ya mamma".
