Battlefield 3 vs. COD MW3

So the question is, even though neither of these games will be out for another few months, which one is going to kick more ass?
Basically, if you could only buy one, which one would it be?

Wut? Modern Warfare 2 is already out and has been for over a year.

Timesplitters wins.

Are you asking which will kick more ass or which we'd rather buy? Because what we buy doesn't mean a game will kick ass, it's just what we like. Overall this thread is a bad idea. Sure we get into some franchise debate but making a thread comparing games is a recipe for fail. We all have our games, that's that.

Battlefield 3, btw.

Edit:

I'm sure he means the next CoD.

MW3

Sales wise, i'd say COD.
Personal preference is Battlefield, unless COD does something great...

Oops, meant mw3.. That was a typo

It is a personal prefernce thing really. MW is for people who like small, fast paced, infantry battles, and BF is for people who prefer large scale battles with vehicles. They are honestly too different to compare outright.

See, I prefer Squad Deathmatch on Battlefield... Which is relatively small scale, destructable enviroments and the quality of sound make it better for me.
